WinUAE only emulates classic Amigas with PowerPC cards. Unfortunately only A1200 & A4000 can be emulated with PowerPC cards and unfortunately this is not stable. With QEmu AmigaOS 4.1 runs faster and more stable and can use up to 2GB memory.

WinUAE 5.3.1's AmigaOS4.1 FE UP2 seems to be stable on my setup.

On Ryzen 5 7600X via AmigaOS 4's Dhrystone benchmark version 2.1 from
https://aminet.net/package/util/cli/WhetDhryStone

WinUAE 5.3.1's AmigaOS4.1 FE UP2 classic with GREX PCI / 3DFX Voodoo 3 and 1.2 GB RAM, has 3D acceleration via 3DFX Voodoo 3:
Dhrystone per Second: 1,823,260.6
Dhrystone MIPS: 1037

QEMU9's AmigaOS4.1 FE UP2 SAM460ex with sm501 and 2GB RAM:
Dhrystone per Second: 1,898,641.9
Dhrystone MIPS: 1080

After a long time, I finally managed to work on it again.

The exam stress is now history and I passed them. :)

Changes that have not yet been published:

- Paths can now contain spaces, regardless of whether on Linux or Windows 11
- Error messages now appear in a requester
- Support for different CPU types such as G3 or G4. I am currently evaluating a few CPU types such as 7447, 7457, 750gx, 750fx, 750cxe...

Unfortunately, there is still no way to pass hardware directly, such as with Virtio. Wasn't there a report that someone was working on this?

A Kickstart Builder is also planned. Unfortunately, I can only test this under the Pegasos II emulator.

Here's a little preview -> LINK

@Mobileconnect

Yes, I know about it, and it came out after my Qemu Helper, so please stop this discussion.

New version 0.9.7 released.

What's new?

- English language selection without restarting the program
- CPU type selection (default: PowerPC 750fx)
For The Settlers II, a G3 should be selected. The PowerPC 750fx is very stable on my system (AMD Ryzen 9 5900X). I have added the following CPU types: 750fx, 750gx, 750cxe, 7447 (G4) & 7457 (G4)
- Paths can now contain spaces. This also works under Linux.

Three small features, but the code has grown by more than 300 lines. I have decided to no longer offer the code precompiled, as there were problems with bad magic numbers under CachyOS. I hope that no one takes the code and passes it off as their own development, as has already happened in two other projects.

The Kickstart Builder (currently still called Kickstart Generator) is already taking shape.

Features:

- Runs on Windows/Linux/MacOS/FreeBSD/NetBSD/OpenBSD thanks to Python3
- SiliconMotion 502 driver is automatically downloaded from os4depot.net and integrated into Kickstart.zip. The same applies to the entry in KickLayout.
- Auto-detection of CD/DVD ROM drives.
- German/English language selection

The only thing that is not yet 100% functional is the integration of the OS 4.1 updates.
