Yes, it is a fair distance, but on the other hand, you don't have to cross the channel! 
The reason it will be held here is because as I 'own' this property, I can keep costs down which means lower costs for all concerned. Plus, I can arrange accomodation or provide space for camping. And it is a pretty area...  _________________

I know the area ... I travelled a lot to France....
If I know a date I combine it with a vacation... I am just in the process of building a mobilhome out of an old Renault Master so it would be a good time to test the thing since it has to go whole the way to Spain (and back I hope) next summer .
It sure is a good idea to make your event as cheap as possible and for people from the UK it doesn't mather I think where they take a ferry. But it's never going to be a "central" Europe event. ( do we need that ? ) Last edited by Aminicle on 29-Oct-2006 at 10:56 AM.

We are still batting about a date at the moment.
Obviously, we would love to have Carl_S attend, if at all possible, so in that case May looks best. Otherwise, if time constraints are such on him and his family, we will be looking at the end of June/beginning of July.
As soon as we hear back from all concerned, we will post here, hopefully in the next few weeks.
