good question. he did say mid mayish ?
so a week more I think then it is time to start asking questions.....

Does anyone even know who are considered to be developers by ack & amiga?

Hey, I develop a perl/mysql database front end, about 9k lines of code at this moment...
will I get one ?

@Insanity

Another interesting question could be: for what OS?
With the current situation nothing is clear

Edit: typo and added a line

@AmigaBlitter

well I reckon it will run some version of linux for starters. As soon as there is a verdict
(does anybody have any idea as to how long that will take? tigger, you seem to have at least seen similar situations before. So, months or even years? ) things might start to change.

Hey, I'm in a simmilar kind of league: developing a ARexx script that when run informs you that its developement is 'Right on schedule and rockin''. Nearly 5 lines of code! Would that qualify me as a developer of some higher order?

@OldFart

hey, your script might run on an amiga so I guess I will have to bow out to you unless linux counts

What has Kowalczyk actually delivered? nothing whatsoever, so i see this as another powervixxen carrot dangling stunt aimed solely for his enjoyment.

I think we should be silent and tolerant until June 1:st. If there is nothing by then. well... let's discuss that then.

We all know that nothing will happen even after June 1st. That's why we've started the discussion now in anticipation of that.

I don't think even ACK have received (seen) a developer board themselves.

Did they name the manufacturing partner yet? So you may be right.

Yea, probably. I mean, would you spend like 8k on a dev board to satisfy a vapor deal with Amiga Inc? I know I wouldn't.
