I actually started working on a plugin but it wouldn't work for some reason. Just kept playing silence. After swearing at it for a few hours I decided I needed to take break. Probably just some stupid mistake I made but I couldn't see it at the time.

I'm currently playing some ProTracker music using my XMP TuneNet plugin . Still some things I need to fix before it's finished though...
I would have had it working sooner but I made some stupid mistakes and I had to spend several hours debugging it before I found what they were. |

| Salss00... i am putting the XMP plugin through a hard test here! :D
ALM (Aley Keptr) - couldn't find any music in this format.
FLT (Startrekker/Audio Sculpture) - ???... needs to be investigated.
GTK (Graoumf Tracker) - faulty, i get a DSI. works on some tunes when ignoring. some of them gets detected as MP3's too.
MMD0/1 (MED 2.10/OctaMED) - .mmd0 works. mmd1 doesn't.
MED3 (MED 2.00) - couldn't find any music in this format.
MED4 (MED 2.10) - couldn't find any music in this format.
PT3 (Protracker 3) - doesn't work. maybe it doesn't play spectrum protracker 3 but amiga protracker 3? ... the spectrum tunes crashes tunenet anyway.
ST (Soundtracker) - couldnt find any music in this format.
STX (STMIK 0.2) (Mikmod) - couldn't find any music in this format.
UNIC (UNIC Packer) this mod packer brings up the grim reaper. Example music: http://files.exotica.org.uk/?file=exotica/media%2Faudio%2FUnExoticA%2FDemo%2FLarsen_Sten%2FEgregious.lha
I will try to find music in the formats that isn't available on modland as well!
edit: located some digital symphony tunes, tested, works, uploaded them to modland. edit: found desktop tracker tunes, lots. will test. edit: removed some formats, as they are packers only. edit: musx music found, and it's working. edit: desktop tracker music works! edit: tested unic packer - faulty edit: .pt3 not working. maybe that extension should be removed, i suspect it is amiga protracker3 and not spectrum protracker3? it makes tunenet fail now. edit: fuchs is all good now! edit: mmd2/3 woeks now! edit: removed the ones that works, to make it easier to see what doesn't. edit: TCB plays the tunes too slow, but it does that in the commandline player too, so it's not a fault of the plugin. All good i say. edit: RTM (Realtracker) removed. The tune i tested in the commandline player is silent as well. edit: mmd0 works, mmd1 doesn't. The same tune works with the commandline player. Download example tune here: http://files.exotica.org.uk/modland/?file=pub/modules/OctaMED%20MMD1/Alex%20Van%20Starrex/slap.mmd1 edit: (atari) megatracker music found! plays perfect! edit: removed stim as it's just a packer. did you compile the svn version or the public version? the svn version supports mo3 too i believe. (mods with mp3 samples).

Dude, perhaps you should move/copy all this info (the first two posts) onto AmigaWiki. You might be able to get the file formats into a nicely formatted table and it'll be a lot less unwieldy than editing forum posts. Just a suggestion.

haha that was unexpected. I found a new format Flextrax (.flx) and it plays perfectly with the XMP plugin allthough XMP doesn't state it supports them. :) The shell player says that the format is flextrax though.

i just tried to load a DTM (Digital Tracker) tune into tunenet. but there's another format that also uses the dtm extension, and it's picked up by the adlib plugin instead, and that makes tunenet lock up.
do you have a sollution to this problem other than to disable the adlib plugin when playing these kind of mods?
i have seen similiar clashes with other formats.
now i removed the adlib plugin and played a Digital Tracker (dtm) tune, and i got a reaper.. ignoring it works, and the tune plays fine.
a couple of dtm tunes got detected as sc98 tunes too... hmmm.... and one as GME... wtf...
downloads to tunes coming soon... as i have finished archiving them.
