I sent a polite email to Meridian Associates (http://meridianassociates.biz/professional.htm) about a month ago. Unfortunately I haven't received a reply.

Here's the mail I sent:

On the "Professionals" page, you state about Mehdi Ali:

"His prior experience includes serving as the President of Commodore International, where he accomplished a major operational turnaround. "

I am quite amused how taking over a healthy company with great R&D and a huge technological edge, and then make it go bankrupt within a few years is a "major operational turnaround".

I am fully aware, that making a company change from "operational" to "non-operational" can be considered a "major operational turnaround". But is that what you meant?

Trust and confidence is more important than ever. Statements like the ones above, certainly does not raise the credibility of Meridian Associates.

I would like a reply.

Nope, didn't expect a reply (as I wrote above), but it would have been amuzing if I had received one.

Even though it has been more than a decade, it doesn't change the fact that it's quite hard to find what was so fantastic about the "major operational turnaround" that Mehdi Ali achieved at Commodore.

In my opinion, the bankrupcy of Commodore was done on pupose by the execs because they stole money out of the company.

My theory is there was heavy influence from a large yet fearful software concern.

Anyway, if you really want a response from the kind of people that would associate with that scum you should start by using their language - which is weasel.
