@Ferry

I don't have sound in this PC, but i don't see nothing being shown - the laptop seems to sport some linux or windows variant... It's a bad quality video.

I suppose he isn't saying much either...

He seemed to be in a incredible hurry explaining
everything. I wonder why, Amiga Inc hasn't been
in a hurry the last 7 years why rush now ?

It's fashinating he can play that record without even blinking with
the eye.. I mean it's the same words he said 8 years ago! How comes he did not forget any comma.. and he tells that in a really enthusiastic manner!
What a waste for Hollywood! Immagine movies a-la rocky balboa with him hanging around in some training center. He would do really fine as a punching bag and I would enjoy every passionated "ouch" "puff" "oof" coming from him!

btw, I logged in and tried to download, there is form but once you push send nothing happens exept a website error.

@Ferry

So how many people here have rushed to amiga.com and downloaded the SDK?

Thats enough!

Now we have to look for a solution.

1. Thing to do: Ask Fran Dramis, what Amiga Inc. is doing and how the firm is working.

2. We have to convince Fran Dramis, that we have to stop Bill McEwen

3. We have to sit all together and analyse the situation

Other opinions about that?

Thanks

Amiga Inc. seems to consist of one person.

With a laptop running Fedora.

Hmmm...

@-Sam-

If Amiga.Inc consits of 1 person, how is it possible that Fran Dramis is sitting in the Advisory Board?

This man is not a ghost.

I am trying to get his e-mail. So i will ask him for what is going on here.

@Amigo1

I think a review of the new AA2 SDK is in order then. Is it worth downloading and signing the AI contract?

Maybe he was on the run from some doormen for not paying the entrance fee?

From this, I see Amiga, Inc. at a trade show with a real product to sell, and getting media coverage with it. It's a good indicator of a promising future.

It's not the biggest product we could have imagined, but a viable revenue stream has to start somewhere. After a steady, relaible income is established, there'll be money for further development of other products. That's the way that most businesses are run, after all.

What seems puzzling is that many here want nothing less than new custom silicon (A6000, A1600, etc.) Well, Amiga, inc. doesn't have the resorces to do that, yet. So, they start with what they have, and work their way forward.

Another thing to consider is that whether you feel Amiga should go this way or not, the "Digital Convergence" that Fleecy Moss spoke of years ago now is coming. Increasingly, applainces are made to interconnect with each other, from desktops, settops, handhelds, cellphones, you name it. Personally, I'd prefer that the underpinnings of this convergence included Amiga IP as early as possible, instead of trying to squeeze desktop-only AmigaOS into things after the fact, as seemed to be the case with the Internet, and even with CD's, for heaven's sake.

I like that Amiga, Inc. have a product out, and that it's getting coverage. For too long everything has been behind the scenes, so we've seen too little of it.
