A new version of OWB_gui is at the upload list of OS4 Depot. The following changes were done:

v0.5
* You can set the home url through the preferences window.
* The extra window that the OWB opens now it doesn't appear.
* http://utilitybase.com/ added at the bookmarks menu

Try this out.

ToDO list:
* Dynamic bookmarks
* Pull down menu for the search like the one that IBrowse has. I hope I can make it dynamic also...
* Open in new screen
* Use enter key at the URL field to start OWB
and a lot of other...

Have a look in OWB:FONTS/_TrueType there should be two files in there, arial.ttf and fonts.conf

I found the reason why I could not run OWB (remember I had only
a window showing;

Using OWB memory allocator 1.5 by Joerg Strohmayer, http://strohmayer.org/
Using --width 960 --height 720 --depth 32 --url file:///PROGDIR/UI/ff/navigation.html

For unknown reason I can't use a width of 960 and height 720, 800 X 600 work fine
and neither 1024 X 768 is working.

I found this when I tryed the recently release OWB_gui which has a default
window size of 640 X 480 X 32 (working)

maybe I found a little bug in owb_gui,
if in the prefs window you remove the home page, owb_gui crash on the next start
deleting the prog.cfg file it work

hmmm.... tried it today and keep getting an "unknown reloc" error message from elf.library. Yes, I've copied the libs to sobjs and I've tried all the versions of owb I could, the same always....any idea anyone?

Once again a problem with loading OWB. I get the grim reaper and crash log points to diskfont.library. Must kill prog no way out. ANd grim reaper remains stuck open and i must reboot to clear screen. Also the output window on OWB says cannot open arial/17 font. so where do i find arial 17?

I reinstalled my arial truetype font and the OWB still gurus with "unable to load arial/17 font. I ran fix fonts and no change. I'm not sure what you mean by the "files tab" in "typemanager". My type manager has source panel and a destination panel. The destination panel list fonts in Fonts dir. I see 4 arial files listed there: arial_0, arial_1, arial-2, arial_3. I have arial.ttf in the _Truetype dir in Fonts dir.

Is there something wrong with my installation of the arial font? what did I miss?

Comparing v1.6 & v1.7 unarc's. v1.7 does not have the FONTS directory that v1.6 has. Just a suggestion but try copying it across and see if that helps.

I have the same crashlog, Quote:

Some of the 'numbers' below that (the hex dump?) differ slightly, but that might just be a different memory location.
