Instead of "More Amiga Video's on YouTube" I'd prefer more powerful Amiga hardware and software in the stores... _________________ Ciao

Great video, even that being a bit slow, but the quality is outstanding! _________________ Probably Pegasos 2 G4 1Ghz 1GB DDR-system, ATI Radeon 9250, ESI@Juli PCi-soundcard, all running AmigaOS 4.1 with latest updates, or a new powerful Amiga! Fingers crossed! |

What I can't understand is how the A1200 UK TV Advert - 'Sunshine on a Rainy Day', hasn't shown up yet on the internet! It featured the popular song by Zoe and a kid using a A1200 on a rainy day and then the sun came out! There is one on Youtube but it's got a A500 in it and isn't the one I saw. I remember seeing it circa 1993, just before the CD32 'mad professor advert came out. Why did no one think to record it?!!!!

I suggest using a slightly lower resolution then you should be able to use a framerate like 10 or 15 fps without just getting a lot of frame skipping like in your video. Also you could use the RGB (raw) codec which may save some CPU and then encode the files later using ffmpeg f.e.
448x336 @ 10 fps, RGB codec -> 66% CPU usage on my SAM440EP
320x240 @ 20 fps, RGB codec -> 68% CPU usage on my SAM440EP
Also don't use impossible to achieve frames per seconds settings like 15 fps with your recording resolution. This only leads to frame skipping and wasted CPU. |

| I've just uploaded a video to youtube that I recorded with SRec on my SAM440EP.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cubhJq-y_s
It shows Exult and CDXLPlay programs. The video was actually longer but it seems that the OS4 port of ffmpeg may have a problem with files larger than 2GB. |
