Possibly not at all.

I was hoping Hollywood might serve as a replacement for AnimatED- add sound, music and timing to animation files. Not so though, as Andreas himself said Hollywood can't do anything else while playing an animation.

Mind you, this was a while ago, and new features may have been added since.

@RoqueFort

hehe.. believe me, it is all about dentistry :)

However, the examples i made available for download was to show what is possible with Designer and not really to show off our software :)

take a look at our homepage www.ferrule-media.no to see some real snapshots of our software - im pretty sure you will find some teeth in there ;)

So it does... silly me.

In addition, "kanal" is very similar to the English word canal, where root canal work is also an aspect of dentistry.

Time to get my teeth into it...

Hello :)

To better show of Designers excellent userinterface I have decided to upload a few screenshots of the program. I find the GUI clean and very easy to both use and understand.

I was able to master the program after just playing with it for a short period of time. It shows that the author Andreas Falkenhahn has used a large amount of time to develop an userinterface that is both functional and fun to work with!

Well, that's a bit... "frustrating" is the word

@Allanon

Can you shed light on this not playing MP3 while showing anims (by anims, does that mean Amiga anims or screen effects), I want to build a Media Player for Aros and this may be a problem. Any ideas seeing as you obviously use it a lot, oh and I will probably just buy Hollywood and not Designer yet.

Steve

@fuskoSCN

Snapshots looks great & your design is excellent! I see program uses transparent PNGs... It is OK but - it would be even better if you could import EPS [or other vector format files, like .AI or similar].

Amiga could be very useable machine if programs like DrawStudio, PageStream and ArtEffect will be finished for OS4. I personally liked DrawStudio a lot as you could create most of the vector arts as on other platforms.

All best with your projects. :)

@djnick

Thank you!

It is true that Hollywood doesn't support vectorgfx yet - However i have not really missed it since the PNG-support is so good.

Have you ever tried Hollywood Designer?

Torgeir :)

@clusteruk

I'll test this for you but I'm pretty sure there are not problems at all with mp3 playing + screen fx

@clusteruk

I have tried earlier to play a mp3-file/sound while running a presentation. It worked without any problems - text, illustrations and photos appeared as they should (with effects) - everthing ran smoothly.

Best regards
Torgeir :)
