I don't think there is going to be new "Desktop" hardware (ie:Sam-2) this year.

As pointed out by many, current HW is severely hindered by software inadequacy, so an upgraded OS4.1 and newer drivers (for expansion cards) would be ideal.

At Pianeta Amiga I saw both the latest build of AOS4.1 (release date unkown for now, we all hope soon) and Morph 2.3 on a TOP PegasosII.

Responsiveness in mundane tasks was similar (remember that I am talking about the latest still unreleased 4.1 build) where Morph went ahead was with real time 3D and Video Playback.

SamFlex can equip a Radeon HD 4350 that if properly supported would give Sams-OS4.1 the edge in those fields, but alas, right now there is no support (although Drivers are in the works).

So, my wish for the time being is better support for what we have available but cannot use properly.
