So strange wy this page a-eon Page show no creation date and only few Information |
Believe it or not, the domain was registered on the 25th of December, 2009. I don't know why there is no creation date listed, but I am damn sure that we did not manipulate the registration database of the damn internet just to give you a headache.
The hyperion-entertainment.biz domain was registered via a different agent, apparently the registration agent for a-eon.com didn't enter the creation date. Big deal. Amiga-news.de doesn't list a creation date either (only changed). Neither does jamplay.com. Each record looks differently, because each record was registered by a different agent.

If you trim off the :8080 at the end you get the normal Hyperion Entertainment website. Nothing new here. |

Maybe we schould not see it as an X, but maybe we schould try to guess what the picture is behind it. Yellow and Black?

I think we need someone drugged to sort this out. That's the shortest path.
Anybody?
And before this game ends, I think we all already deserved some decent b00bs on the site soon, aren't we, for so much efforts? _________________ Amiga 1200 + WARP 1260 + AmigaOS 3.2 |

Lets stockpile some definitions for later on.
EON:
The longest phase of geologic time. Earth's history has consisted of four eons, the Hadean or Priscoan, Archaean, Proterozoic, and Phanerozoic. The next-smallest subdivision of geologic time is the era.

| Am I so stupid not to realize this before?
Look guys, concentrate and gather facts.
Netbooks are getting even more popular. Google is to launch ChromeOS linux - basically stuff that is to work like thin client, basing on the browser and google services. And people are mad about it already. Next thing is the settlement. Thereafter Hyperion can securely benefit from Amiga history, AmigaOS brand, lightweight specs, even too much to convince VCists to spare some cash. Then you're done with the HW issue, AmigaOne, ACube, even the bloody Genesi - just name it. Google netbook is said to cost $400, planned. PPC Efika was $99 as I remember. And if we're talking AmigaOS can run on such hw like Efika PPC board (the MorphOS case), hereby I announce
MAP = AmigaOS PPC netbook.
Running Timberwolf-compatible web apps. Plus the usual OS4 or m68k stuff, too.
What d'you guys think?? _________________ Amiga 1200 + WARP 1260 + AmigaOS 3.2 |

Weren't Intel's old ARM clones called XCore? And Unix/Linux' graphical user interface Xr11? It's still an enigma to me. We'll just have to wait for the next piece of the puzzle. |

Efika? that underpowered board with 128Mb ram=? is it a joke? Genesi sold us the whole bike ! and radically they turned on to ARM.
i don't mind Netbooks, what is really important for me is?
AmigaOS kinda system, as powerfull as possible, and with the better software to compete nowdays in the mainstream computing.

That's right.

No, it's an entry-level-priced mainboard for extremely scalable system(s) in terms of specs (AmigaOS4, MorphOS2).

I know. I gave an example of a stuff that was available lately, still (i mean in 2009)

That was an example of pricing calculation for the HW alone. Plus the notion of netbooks vs. ChromeOS as wireless thin clients, nothing more. There's a huge market demand on that. Just imagine AmigaOS netbook for $250, incl. timberwolf (count OS4 license as $30 in this case).
As long as you've got PPC HW subsided anyhow of course._________________ Amiga 1200 + WARP 1260 + AmigaOS 3.2 |
