I don't think so. If you calculate the right mobo-side it's not smaller maybe bigger (Audioports, 4x Double-USB-Ports, Ethernet-Ports and 7 PCI/PCIx/AGP/whatever-Ports).

Yeah, I wondered if that chip was blocking something behind it, in which case it probably says "Power Xena".

Incidentally, "Xena" means "stranger."

So we have, from left to right, an SPDIF, standard audio jack I/O, eight USB sockets. But I can't make out what the final connector is!

So, we know about a mobo and a dedicated case with a boing ball on it.
Any other facts?

From a laymans point of view, and comparing with Sam mobos, it does not look like it is a derivative.
It does not look like it is based on Sam!!
