@AmigaHeretic

As we all know, there is an article in AF coming up on 5th March.
I doubt very much that they will reveal anything that might stop the inquisitive folks from buying AF for the first time...

So the theory there is they are stringing the whole community along for over two months so that AF can sell more issues of AF in March?

That doesn't seem real likely, but as it's hard to know what their motives are I suppose it is at least possible.

@thread

The tone of many comments from a FEW users has been accusative and confrontational. Not to mention FUD heavy.

I reckon A-eon are so fecked off with certain individuals, that they are gladly holding back just to p*** them off.

I know I would.

Are you suggesting A-EON is not a very professional company?

@AmigaHeretic

No, just suggesting that they are resisting entering into a public discussion about THEIR business on a public forum that is riddled with morons. Most of whom will twist and contort any statement to suit their own screwed view of the world.

If you feel already attacked by such a comment I guess this was the purpose of this thread? Being able to report people?

If that makes you feel better, so be it. Claiming to be the bother and acting all proud about it could be seen as baiting. But for me there's no satisfaction in reporting FUD trolls.

GUESS who HASN'T responded? Still no reason why they won't tell us information. No reason why they are stringing us on....

Trying once more to achieve what other sadly failed to get through to you; please read the answers you personally got in this thread from HyperionMP and TrevorDick and walk to a mirror and say people involved in the X1000 haven't responded to your questions out loud. Does the guy in the mirror believe you?

@AmigaHeretic

sorry dude, this has kept on for long enough now.

you sir, need a ####ing life.

it's almost as if you where paid to be this idiotic and here i was thinking that you where a good guy (for all this time uptill this thread and the one on moobunny appeared).

feel free to report me as that is certainly what i have done to you.

PS:if you DON'T want the X1k to come out then ####ing say it, if YOU DO WANT it then stop ####ing at the guys making it.
And NO, its not about A-EON beeing pro's or not, its a miniscule company with limited funds and/or is powered by individuals who is part of the amiga community, not some rich guy who doesn't know what a forum is or whatever (as in, like 99% of all investors out there).
If you fail to understand that, then i would say that you need to start focusing on the so called AMIGA Market/community.

OK this thread has just about run out of life. It serves no purpose being shown on the front page, and will be locked soon.

Certain peeps will start further threads of a very similar nature. Don't wait till page 17 to step in next time...

Sure. But they already were unable to deliver a lot of announced products: Worms Armaggedon, Majesty,...

.

yes we could go on about that list indeed but then again, why should they have released 68k games when they where working on a PPC OS ?

By the time there actually was room for game development the liscenses had timed out and rebuying them would cost too much money.

IIRC the game development stuff that was announced after the OS4 announcement was supposedly beeing a subsidiary or income to get a OS4.0 market up but if someone had paid attention in class, by the time the OS was awesome (some time after the pre release) thoose titles looked like last generation titles although some where quite interesting to me atleast.

By your logic it sounds like you have really big issues with developer houses like UBI SOFT,SONY,EA Games etc, you know... they abandon announced games almost every quarter in a year (as in atleast 4 titles a year).

Note that, i was one of the guys who got sad when the games was removed from the "upcomming/in development" list but then again, i do know how many copies a game sold in the 2001-2004 era, as in... not enough to cover other stuff than the actual media/box the game came in and perhaps the liscense if it was an old'ish title).

Using the, BUT BUT BUT, WHERE IS THE GAMES, argument is really weak as you know, they released an OS and the OS is still in development way beyond what anyone expected it to be in the early days.
