You most be mistaken I have seen lots of computer sold whit just 1 year warranty, and I know because I'm Norwegian, but does it matter its not going to be sold in Norway, you will need to get from Sweden or England or Germany (EU laws), Norway is bound by the EØS agreement, in other words its where likely that we have same laws as in the EU.

Elkjøp provides insurance if you pay a little extra but it is not the same as a guarantee.

I know TV's and monitors have 5 years but that's more of a exception, whit warrants like that there is no point in providing customer repair service.

Check the terms of your credit card company, most give you an extended warranty if you buy a product with it.
