@All
Thank you for your compliments

@Chris_Y
Netsurf really runs nicely (leaves me with >20MB mem free, I'm currently running WookieChat & AmIRC as I'm posting this from NetSurf ) and renders most of the pages well!
A nice alternative to the plain OWB (MUI-OWB runs as a charm to systems with more resources though). Tabs, DL progress bar, search engines, bookmarks manager and more to discover....
I'm looking forward to using v2.8 (I'd like to do the Greek translation , but I'm very busy at the moment. If I get some spare time I'd like to give it a try ).

P.S. During the installation (nice installer script !) I was asked if I was to replace my libpng12.so ( 662668 ) with the one provided with the lha package ( 665601 ). The later had a newer datestamp, but I kept the original and the program run with no apparent problems. Do you recommend to replace it, as suggested by the Installer?

@Cass

Good to hear! If you want to do that translation, contact me or Michael Drake (I think it is Michael who deals with translations anyway). Michael is probably a better contact than me tbh.

It is highly recommended to replace libpng12.so - the older versions have security vulnerabilities and other bugs. The visible problem is that the tabs are magenta on Wikipedia with the old version

For info, the one in the archive is 1.2.44. I see there is another security vulnerability in that so I'm just about to download and compile 1.2.46. The likelihood of anybody exploiting this with PPC code is minimal, but it could still cause a crash.
