I could come up with the money now, hopefully before thinking too much about whether I should really spend all that on one computer. The longer I have to wait, the more chance that some emergency will come up and I'll have to spend it on something else. Once again, I try to come up with a time-line. Maybe by the Amiga show in Sacramento in October they'll have X1000 running OS 4.2. It would probably take a couple months to package it and get it ready. Maybe by Christmas. I should specify this Christmas.
