At Amiwest we were sitting around last night talking about the netbook and when it's supposed to be out. The last I heard was "in the spring". We quickly realized 'which' spring was specified.
Some reality for this discussion - netbooks have died in the market place. The tablet has replaced the netbook. So getting hold of netbook hardware is expensive because it is not off-the shelf hardware anymore. That is not speculation.
The speculation is that we may see a tablet someday with AOS on it. I hope.

Not that I have any say in the matter - the netbook may not be economically viable anymore.
The nice thing about tablets today. You can plug a keyboard into them if you need one. And tablets are cheap to buy.
