@Troels

Because Darth_X his quote has extra html-code, perhaps a "/ quote" to much.

@Dirk-B

There needs to be a space between /blog/ and [/quote].

Trevors blog is nice to read.
(and his "photoshopping" skills are improving!)

No-one has yet commented about this curious paragraph:

Quote:
Chroma keying will be required to get a flawless image in Wipeout XL but Hans-Jorg claims that it is now just a matter of doing the work and, "In any case, we're approaching a state now where testing can commence". Watch this space. Squashing Bugs

Why is Wipeout XL mentioned? Is XL a newer version?

@djrikki

Maybe WipeOut 2097 was intended ?

@samo79

Wipeout 2097 was apparently called Wipeout XL in the States: Wikipedia article

@Spectre660
Thank you for info

I'm very happy to read that
"Thomas Frieden is making progress with multicore support for AmigaOS 4 on the dual-core AmigaONE X1000"

and

"Lyle has already made good progress and the A1-X1000's HDAudio is no longer mute under AmigaOS 4"

Many thanks to the A-Eon and Hyperion teams to improve support of the X1000.

I hope wee see some new thing demoed real soon (tm).

This is nice as well:
"Lyle is now working on a set of Non_AHI tools to allow testing and refining of the USB stack which will eventually lead to the development of an AHI USB sound driver for AmigaOS 4."

So, I could use USB audio with the 30eur PPC chip that does not have any audio interface.

Anyone developing audio drivers for RadeonHD cards yet????

+ btw. perhaps we get "Varnish Cache" on AOS4 ... for faster browsing than on any mainstream system???

Trevor have a nice trip, and welcome to the cold nice northern europe. Remember to visit Spotify in Sweden and drink beer with them, because the guys who's handling this apparently can't drink anymore (or cant afford to buy more beer for the spotify guys)

When you are done with your trip maybe it's time to spill a couple of beans in a new blog

But untill that...SPREAD THE AMIGA LOVE ALL AROUND YOU

Everybody needs it!

Have a nice trip

Greetings from Denmark

Great news ! Wellcome to Europe Trevor. Good to hear, that X1000 onboard Sound gets a driver soon. However I am still waiting for X1000:

onboard Sound driver
onboard Ethernet driver
multicore support

Hope everything gets ready way before they release any new hardware, because otherwise I might not see the full potential of X1000 as I will already have some other A-Eon HW by the time
