Yup :)
Which is why i find this endless "discussion" tragi-comical.
It was going on when I first started reading these forums, and lo and behold; we are still at it!
At the end of the day, I share the sentiment of your last sentance. Last edited by Overflow on 19-Oct-2014 at 08:21 PM.

Yes it seams its never ending, way does every topic have to end up with this crap?
Anyway I'm more and more happy we are not using old custom chips, and I really do not care what name of computer is as long as it runs AmigaOS4. AmigaONE or Amiga who cares, it just a freaking name. _________________ http://lifeofliveforit.blogspot.no/ Facebook::LiveForIt Software for AmigaOS |

| WHO GOD BLESS By Ras Shorty I
The workers of iniquity dig a pit for me, Now they waiting for me to fall in. Trying to take my bread and butter With lies and propaganda, But they fooling, they only fooling. I will not be afraid of what man can do to me, Man, you see, is only vanity.
Chorus: You see, who God bless, no man curse. He shall never hunger or thirst Who God bless, no man shall ever curse He shall be first, he shall be first.
All these years of toil, burning the midnight oil Creating something from nothing. Now it reach maturity and gain popularity Some of them claiming is their own thing But as sure as Truth always prevails finally So the death of lies and deceit is a certainty.
Chorus: You see, who God bless, no man curse. He shall never hunger or thirst Who God bless, no man shall ever curse He shall be first, he shall be first.
All this envy and jealousy is causing disharmony It's appalling and frustrating But whosoever diggeth a pit, they shall fall in it What they sowing, they shall be reaping. But my house is strong and no one can put it down The foundation is from now till Thy Kingdom come.
Chorus: You see, who God bless, no man curse. He shall never hunger or thirst Who God bless, no man shall ever curse He shall be first, he shall be first.

I've read your blog and even if any comparisons are maybe not worthwhile at this stage based on what you wrote (see below) I've a simple question : How does SuperTuxkart running on the X5000 compares to one running on the X1000?
Kamelito
Excerpt of Trevor Blog : "...core Linux team have also been very busy and we already have a working Linux distribution up and running on the Cyrus+ motherboard, complete with 3D hardware accelerations for a range of RadeonHD graphics cards. SuperTuxkart - AMIGA one X5000 under Linux Darren Stevens created a video of Linux and AmigaOS 4 booting on his Cyrus+ board. He used the ubiquitous Supertuxkart racing game as a test of the machines 3D capabilities under Linux"

Dont have any firm figures for Super Tux Kart in terms of frame rate etc, but it looked smooth to me on Darren's video. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS |

Me too, of course, but Linux is perfect for testing/validating the Cyrus board before a full port of AmigaOS. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS |

My answer is the same. It looked fine in Darren's video but I will need to test myself once I get my AmigaONE X5000.

"Commodore UK was one of the most profitable divisions of Commodore and at it's peak had an installed user base of 4,000 Amiga users"

| I always wondered why C=UK pulled out of bidding at the last minute. Now I know!
(It's a shame really, as I still believe they would have done a better job than ESCOM, although I give ESCOM credit for trying)

| When I was in NZ five years ago we had an earthquake at night. I just thought it was some noisy truck passing by and kept sleeping :P Last edited by itix on 17-Nov-2014 at 06:37 PM.
