@itix

One night in Montserrat in 1995 we had 38 individual earthquake events that were felt .
I would have liked to see if you could have slept through that .

@pavlor

I would buy one (maybe 8... for all our club members).

Very stylish!

I guess I have given up on X1000 T-Shirts. It seems like such a natural. Certainly would have generated conversations here in Texas where T-Shirts are THE thing to wear.

@amigakit

Who should I write to in order to get permission to make exactly *1* T-Shirt (for me) with X-1000 logo on it?

Same person for permission to make *1* etched glass with "Amiga" + a boing ball on it?
There is a 1 person company that does that sort of thing for art (If I don't bug her during the high-selling Xmas rush).

X1000 owner,
George Wyche

@Trevor:

from the blog:

Quote:

A recent scientific study reported that trolls [...] in the most extreme cases are sex offenders and serial killers.

Wow, just wow.

Quote:

... more likely to have narcissistic, Machiavellian, psychopathic, and sadistic personality traits. The report also suggest that such people are characterized by being vicious and degrading toward others, sometimes physically

I get that you had a really shitty week, given that Ben made you pick up the soap again. But that's neither funny nor helpful IMHO - especially given how your target audience already reacts to opposing views...

@cgutjahr

These words are almost literally taken from Wikipedia - there are references to two articles:

Trolls just want to have fun

The effect of de-individuation of the Internet Troller on Criminal Procedure implementation: An interview with a Hater

To cite Trevor:

So next time you see a troll on an Amiga forum just ignore them and remember you are providing a greater public service.

Gutjahr is right... he should avoid that "joke" (if it was meant to be one). It is not funny at all.

However, it seems to be based on peer reviewed study.

@Trevor

In X5000 screenshot there is Ranger/Machine listing P5020 as 32 kB L1 and 512 kB L2 cache, but no L3 cache. Isn´t CoreNet platform cache used as some sort of L3?

It is common truth about trolls - you may hear it from Trevor, Ben, Barry and even both Bills.
