@Kicko

Just use http://www.videograbber.net/ and paste the URL, you can then even save the original resolution vid in mp4 format

@wawa

Robert posted a few days ago that the HD with the videos had crashed on him, he was waiting for a replacement. Hopefully he can save what was on the crashed HD, so could take a little time.

Robert's a smart guy, he must feel he can save the videos or know someone who can.

The original hi-defs are on DV tape. The edited videos were on the hard drive. So, all is well, since the originals are safe and sound.

Bars and Pipes... This recalls me that Alfred Faust stopped the development in 2009 due to increasing health problems.

Last page update is september 2010...

Anyone from Germany who knows about Alfred situation? I hope he is being better or at least stable with his problem.

@lylehaze,

I had no knowledge that anyone had done any work on Bars & Pipes after MS bought them out, so your presentation at AmiWest was a very pleasant surprise, I made sure to download Bars & Pipes when it was offered as a free download for a short period of time, plus I ordered the full Bars & Pipes manuals before they were all gone.

I am not a musical person, but had always wanted to learn and play around with Bars & Pipes, plus all of the other great music programs available for the Amiga.

I am very happy to see that work on Bars & Pipes continued after the MS buy out and even happier to see that you are now continuing to work on the Bars & Pipes program and are porting it to AmigaOS4.1.5, so I can enjoy it on my X1000.

Your presentation was one of the many high points for me of the 2012 AmiWest Show.

Thanks for your work, and even more for making all of it Open Source, so others will get interested and perhaps take it further and higher in the future. We have many great programmers within the Amiga community like you, but we could always do with more. That is why the extension and continuation of the Amiga Programming Seminar for next year's AmiWest Show is also great news. I hope that more Amiga users interested in programming on the AmigaOne will attend next year and that you will be there giving us another demonstration and programming exercise to work on and practice with.

@Anyone still not knowing who is doing the LibreOffice port, look at the Trevors presentation. ;-P

+ there's interesting bits and pieces of what CPUs A-Eon is planning/hoping to use in future: e500mc based (1.5GHz), e5500 based (2+ghz) and dreams about 24core x1000 replacement.... + but do not hold your breath getting another new a-eon computer system anytime soon (was it something like "not in 2013" ?)

need to listen later with better audio setup ... anyone doing a transcript?

Busy year for A-Eon.

Did I hear right? 400 X1000? That is more than I expected.

just a quick note to let you know robert's latest videos have also been uploaded to intuitionbase.com for amigans without access to a system capable of viewing flash video.
