Free Amiga Noticed the doc is now in version 2.2.2 - I had only read it when it was version 1.x

It's like a soap opera script!

Oh bloody marvellous...

Top tip: If you are going to flirt brazenly in an open forum, don't do it in an historically important thread.

/me waves to cecilia and points out he's still wearing his kilt.

And it would appear I owe fairlanefastback some of my humble pie. It would appear you were entirely correct in our conversations and I was entirely wrong. Good eyes and clear mind are always superior to wishful thinking.

One of the sources for some information on that page was from a thread that had some flirtation going on which was preserved along with the relevant information.(Screen capture of the website)

And fairlanefastback and I had a long lasting conversation about the meanings of events as they were happening (regarding the goings on with investors and OS5/AA2 development). At the time, much information wasn't in the public domain that is now. He made the better call on what it meant. In hindsight, it's obvious he was right.

Not sure, the email address and twitter is nondescript, so unless you are the US government with a sopena in hand, no chance. Perhaps a moo... no forget that there is more than 3 lines typed and no swearing. Someone must know.

Indeed.

This website/the amiga scene is like a winter cold virus. You think you've got over it, start making plans and having a fruitful life ahead of you, then suddenly you are coughing up phlegm, puking up over your slippers and drinking expensive citrus drinks nobody in their right mind would actually choose to drink, were it not for the slight relief they give from all the misery of your life at that moment.

Woot! Woot! Somehow I knew you would turn up in this thread first. Welcome back, my friend. Rumor has it you are temporarily connecting via a PC, but we will forgive. :) Hope your Miggy is up and running again very soon.

Never trust rumors.....even if they -are- true.

@polka.

Thanks for the flowers, but it isn't me. And it certainly isn't #6, as the author of these documents expresses his opinion in several places - #6 never does that. He thinks it's more clever to post cryptic clues that nobody understands.

@number6:

Bah, so the rumours are true and you didn't get any wiser? I was hoping the hints that you'd return were just the usual propaganda ("everything's fine guys, he didn't leave because of the depressing situation - he's just taking a vacation. Oh look, a new wallpaper!") and that you'd be hanging out with more normal people than us now.

Welcome back, anyway.

86 million $... I think it should be enough to make SMP support in AmigaOS 4, make a port of Java, new hardware etc. This money could be used for some marketing/advertising.

86 mln is a HUGE sum for our small community. I think it is even possible to make a quad-core PPC motherboard with fully realised NatAmi chipset :)

You should be phoning me when such momentous developments take place.

btw-noticed a lot of thoughtful, if not positive posts from you in my absence.
