I hope so. But it is hard to believe that project even more ambitious than Natami will succeed. Now, they are in stage 2.

@pavlor

the hardware is for industrie, no "retro-hardware". If it will become a amiga or not will depend on one or more people doing VHDL to transform it.

@pavlor

problem of tyna is only one ... trolling ...
Some one in that team think like this:" i can do better of acube"
... but do better is not only write some news and some picture on a website but make the fact , the fact is acube made something and continue making something new.
... hope soon will see if the tyna team will made something running and working or will be only the last troll action of someone that we know really good in the italian amiga scene.

Interesting background, but that would be better suited for PM.

Compare themselves to Acube is... immodest (at least now).

I only know one of the team and this person never "trolled". So instead badmouthing a couple of involved people you should say who is "trolling" and what he exactly said. And anyway Acube is not really interesting here because this is a FPGA/VHDL project like FPGA Arcade or Minimig and has nothing to do with PPC/AmigaOS/Acube/a-eon or similar.

they are "selling" it. I could theoretical sell it too without being a board developer or doing VHDL.

Only to show they are pushing in the same area - not only NG, but also "new" classic. TiNA developers may be best in their field, but they are still 3 (or 4 if you count Minimig) working boards behind Acube.

Ami4be, if my memory serves me right. I don´t think he has anything common with TiNA (or anything else usefull). He and vox in one room, that could be interesting.

@tlosm

it is called "TiNA" as far as I know...

We will see in the near future what will be real. The VHDL part is already in the works by another developer who want to create it as a open base for FPGA projects. And the TiNA hardware is promised for the next months. If they do not deliver you can still start bashing next year. Or do you only react this way because they (or better one of them) compared himself with your super-heroes of the amiga-world. Really stay on earth please. Both are from different worlds (PPC and 68k) and no competition. It is not a good style to make others down (even after delivering something) but it is not necessary to make down a whole project because of that. We will see. If TiNA +the VHDL work of the other project both become reality and can be combined it will be a nice little toy for amigans perhaps even sold by Acube.

dont you think its true? ever was..
but then, why not spare your comments about "tina" until someone starts a topic about waiting for it or it being vapour. so far everybody here is asking about ultimateppc, tina is completely off topic, and none seems to have any groundbreakng expactations about it.

i know one of the person of the project is a good one and his the engineer ... the other i dont believe to much... sorry, is my personal opinion reading the comments of a part of the team on some italians forum ... and im sorry but my philosophy is "if there are more of 75% in one team that are not right... all the project will fail.

i like amiga os not venerate that, i like gaming past and new i like all the tecnology sorry but i become offended for such texts ... yes first because an amigans inside but amigans and Christian and not a part of a sect .
Usually amigans are Geek and not simple users, like the tecnology and know programming , creating music and are gfx artists plus good elettronic tecnichans and be part of this group of people make me be happy and proud because i can learn write and know something that didnt know before...
I can write here dozen of nick of really great programmers and people of the past and new community who make me growing up with notions and informations...

sorry but if some one speak about us a sect a become hungry...

About Tyna , Tina or TiNA ... i was happy when i sow this news about this project ... and if you see good i was the first who wrote about it ... but after knowing good the people who are involved in this project .. god ... better leave out ..

Yes well what he said is that OS4 users are like a sect ...

I myself would call you zealots ... or even better talibans ...

There is only few people who still post on Amiga forums that
actually know how all Amiga SW and HW work and have
full and complete understanding of Amiga OS.

Cdimauro is one of these people , Toni Wielen is one of these
people , Piru Sintonen is one of these people.Without such people
you will soon end up like the proud DoDo birds

I cannot comment that. I only "know" one of the team that is very skilled and kind person never saying anything bad about others. Do not know the others so I cannot make any judgements. We will see if the board becomes real or not.
