Another $10 in the pot. At this rate they'll hit the target in approximately 30 years by my maths.

"Remember when computing was fun" might seem a bit tasteless given the target audience's age demographic in 2045.

Thanks for the "religious" connection by using "disciple" there.

You might have to recompute your completion date.

I see this morning it is now going backwards.

Just noticed after a recent BB10 update, the Amazon store is now available featuring various 'emulated Amiga version' of Cinemaware titles. The game-in-emulator apps appear to be published by Cinemaware themselves.

Not aware of any Cinemaware/Cloanto agreement, although I haven't followed that closely, so may be related.

just to note, Cinemaware was bought by eGames Inc several years ago.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/EGames

E-games inc are listed as an "indefinite" licensee of "kickstart module" for bumdling with classic Amiga games.

This could, perhaps, be the source of any license AGI/Retroinfinity may have wrt emulation.
E-Games Inc license dates from 2007, and is listed in the attachment to the Hyperion/AInc Settlement Agreement.

Just linking back to front page thread where the subject was unleashed, in order to keep more info on this topic together.

AmigaGames Inc, Kickstarter Infinity platform... .legal?

And of course the Hyperion connection:

Classic Cinemaware Returns to AmigaOS

And although the Manomio connection is never openly discussed (due to what happened to Manomio in, oh So many ways), the connection was made:

Defender of the Crown - Emulated Amiga Version

Brought to you by Cinemaware® in association with Manomio

After SO many denials by WRIT about being connected to Amiga Inc., I am now truly confused:

I'm looking at a question about this kickstarter campaign, and it is being answered not by WRIT, not by Amiga Games Inc., not by RetroInfinity Inc., but by...
Amiga Inc.

Can someone explain this rationally to me?

See Amiga Incorporated facebook and confirm please.

And earlier posts concerning non-published change of job titles.

I think I missed posting this one:

(about 1/2 way down)

Note your post after mine (first link) indicating latest info was:

Good. The kids are a bit older now of course.

What has Mr. McEwen been up to? Any new fun adventures like the Kent arena thing? Man I can't believe that was like 8 years ago already!

Well, if you read this thread and the links herein, you'll see this thread IS about what he's been up to. heh.

If you're requesting a summary of all Amiga Inc. antics, well...I honestly would not know where to begin.
