Seems very cool.

@newlight

It will be a commercial one. Windows and MacOS version will be distributed via Digital Delivery, but we are striving to have a boxed edition for the Amiga versions.

best regards
Gianluca

Well, official demo release is scheduled in less than a month.
In the meantime, french localization has reached 50%, while italian and english are now complete.

Best regards

@thread

A revised TSMC demo has just been uploaded on our server.

Compiled using Hollywood 6, the code is now even more stable.

Following users request, more freedom of movement has been added and the user interface now features animated pointers to indicate dialogs availability or objects interaction.

Amiga-like versions have now dropped the need for "mpega.library" to play MP3 files, and the appropriate "avcodec.hwp" plug-in was added to the relevant archives.

You can find AmigaOS, MorphOS, Windows and MacOS X (intel) versions at this address.

Find MacOS X (ppc) demo here.

Please make sure to read the updated release notes.

Happy gaming!

Got an Hollywood error during the intro:

Could not find music 305!
File: TSMC_OFFICIAL_DEMO_H6.hws (current line: 3877 - In function: IsMusicPlaying)

To be noted that in background i had an MPlayer session opened (but paused), maybe the music unit was busy that's why the crash .. still that a fix is maybe needed

@samo79

Good morning, Samo.

According to Andreas this should not happen anymore with Hollywood 6, nonetheless it must be a framework related problem.

Everything works fine here (and on other systems) without any other player open.
I'll report this matter to Andreas.

Thanks for pointing this out.

My fellow Amigans,

after 16 months of development and countless hours of coding, we are
finally proud to announce that works on "The Secret of Middle City"
are now complete!

The final version of the game has been handed over to the distributors
for the post-production phase during the last days, and it will soon
be available to final users.

Stay tunes on this site since an appropriate news will be published as soon as possible.

In the meantime, a revised demo that makes use of the latest game engine
has been uploaded in the download section of our SITE.

The demo sports improved visuals, reworked dialogs, new background animations
and new enviromental sound effects.
TSMC demo is currently available for AmigaOS4, MorphOS, Windows and MacOS X
(both i386 and PowerPC) versions.

Here are the direct links to the demos:

@amigakit

Thanks!

It ranges around 2000 hours of coding, gfx and sound fixing, debugging and .... a lot of stress!

But it is finally done!

Best regards
Gianluca

@g0blin

Going to download the windows demo and give it a go. Would love to have a game like this for my A1200 ... if it was possible to do a version for classic Amiga's.

@Amiga1200Mark

Now that the game is finished we will try to explore every possible release for other platforms.

Although the graphic was originally developed on a classic Amiga with Paint, it is kinda heavy nowadays because it underwent many changes/improvements.

I cannot promise anything at the moment, but I will look into it asap. You never know ...

@Samo, Amikit

Thanks. It is really appreciated.
