I didn't manage to buy it directly via PayPal either.

But I managed to buy it after creating an Acube account, going through "all the steps" after having logged in...

I tried this as well but with no luck.

USB keyboard support is terrible. I had to try 3 keyboards before I could get into the BIOS. Would not recommend anyone try this update.

After 6,000 attempts I finally managed to purchase the uBoot update. Mind you the page on acube's site simply stayed blank.

I went through the shopping cart purchase options and hit next many times. I have done this before but this time I hit refresh after the blank acube payment authorization page appeared. Though I did not see the confirmation from acube's web site (just a blank page), I did receive the confirmation via email from acube and Paypal shortly after. In the mail you get the link for the download (3 times max downloads).

It is random if it works so be patient.

I also brought the update today, my keyboard amigaone works but my Logitech G500 doesn,t work propery mouse pointer can only move up and down.

Shame that the new bios was properly tested. hope we will get a update soon.

perhaps it maybe a good idea to list what device(s) are used when firmware is updated so that end users can follow in their footstep.

Firmware upgrade that is not for free is pretty crazy. Setting up the payment facility and dealing with the related troubles must cost more than what the revenue is. And on top of that, the update is buggy. Sounds like bad decision makers at ACube.

So far it "works" on my system. I have not tried my Logitech wireless Joyad yet. After reading these posts, now I am too scared :)

I did try the DDR 2 speed setting. I set it to Read only. My system wont boot properly, so I disabled it. Well, it does mention that this may cause system instability and it did. That part seems to work :)
