WHD Menu is a great launcher for games. Yannick did this nice update and will be included in next AspireOS release.

It is running with free AROS 68k roms and system files.

There are some games that require A1200, A4000 kickstarts with key. That is explained in the video.

Had some fun yesterday. Received a little faster CPU for this laptop and installed it.
Good that the CPU is not soldered so very easy to do.

This laptop came with 3 different CPU configurations. From 1,6 to 2GHz.
I have 2 of these laptops. First I changed the CPU on one of them to 1,8, then on the other one I changed to 2GHz.
The 2GHz CPU is a good step up from 1,6GHz.
All the tests from GPMark show it is around 15% faster.

It is almost insane how cheap you can find the 2GHz CPU on EBay. It is like 2$ :D

It is also very easy to change. A small screw driver and CPU paste is all you need.
Be sure to remove the old CPU paste on CPU and GPU before you add the fresh one.
I just use kitchen paper.

Thats really cool to see Quake 3 and return to castle wolfenstein 3D running on a pc.

As a real amigan i don't want fakes and runs the real deal ofcourse, no emulation or washer machines involved at all.

FPSE should also works with the Warp3D gpuw3d plugin with WaZp3d for Aros that is included in Aros
As Aros' Wazp3D support (on some hardware) hardware rendering it will allow you to play 3D games too

I remenber that Crash Bandicoot,Soul Blade or Legacy of Kain worked on FPSE-Amiga

Do you think that AROS is emulated? It is not, and the games you mention are not emulated either.
AROS is a NG Amiga system. AmigaOS4 is no more Amiga than AROS. Just the name.

If I want to run classic 68k it must be emulated with every AmigaNG system. Being OS4, MorphOS or AROS, and then I agree that it is nothing like the real deal, even how difficult it can be regarding mothern equipment.
I would say that the classic Amiga 68k on a mothern LCD monitor is not what I would like to see, or use. Either CRT or nothing.
