I stayed with the Amiga because I also liked Commodore. The Amiga was a Computer Nerd's dream. _________________ John 3:16 |

I didn't follow your link -- my browser is giving me a security warning for that site.
From what I've read in the past he was probably born late summer/early winter 2 BC, but the church picked December 25 to coincide with some pagan holiday or other. Which is fine by me -- December is a dreary month in my part of the world, so it's nice to have something to celebrate this time of year.

| I'm still here too. Goodness know why haha. Mainly Classic stuff these days.
Didn't this thread escalate quickly, looks like I missed a whole world of backstory, and for that I'm grateful.
See you next year for my now annual posting here in AW.

| I stay with Amiga/MorphOS because it offers some continuity (30 years for me now), I can rather master the system and am used to the work flow and can do most of th stuff I want to do (well, quite a lack in the office domain though). A bit more of this and that would be nice, but all in all it's nice - a thinner laptop with a more powerful battery would be on my dream list though, but still the Powerbook gives me about 2hrs independence from a power outlet...
