If all this pathetic idiots that waste last twenty years on holy war against ppc, cooperate, we will have working open source clone of amiga gui and may switch to x86.

Even if, in last few years there was no progress on ppc it is still faster and more usable than 68k.
And still compatible.

and 3 different new 060 boards coming.

Can you list these? I don't follow this very closely.

Jens has already shown prototype of ACA1260.
Stephen Leary/Terriblefire has TF1260 and TF360 running.
And CS-Lab has demoed Warp 560. Also plans to make Warp 1260 and Warp 4060.

Most intresting of these will be TF1260 since it will be CHEAP compared to anything else in the market. And Warp 560 060, RTG, AHI card and WiFi in A500? Yes please!

Pagan? Yule is religiously neutral, kinda like spring, summer etc.

Even the churches here use this term https://kirken.no - see all the words starting with “jul”? This is result of the church’s attempt at “embrace, extend and monopolice” which really didn’t work all too well :)

Nintendo did more for PPC than anyone else and even they are all ARM-based now...
Just let it die.

ARMiga Pi ZZA model is the future!

What Yule celebrates?

In pre-Christian Scandinavia, the Feast of Juul, or Yule, lasted for 12 days celebrating the rebirth of the sun and giving rise to the custom of burning a Yule log. In ancient Rome, the winter solstice was celebrated at the Feast of Saturnalia, to honor Saturn, the god of agricultural bounty.

As I said worshipping the Sun / Saturn is the very definition of paganism. Why not worship God instead as instructed in the Bible? He created the Sun and Saturn after all!

Celebrating that the sun returns every year does not constitute worshipping the sun - if you lived in a location like here with utter darkness or max 3-4 hours of dusky daylight, you would be celebrating that too. Regardless of religion.

Should I call you a sun worshipper for going to church on Sundays?

And what's with the beanie on your avatar? Doesn't that make you a Mithras worshipper?

To back on topic.

What about to organize some sort of reunion with the only purpose to joing the forces.
The assets could be distributed equally and a new and thriving company may be created.

I know that many investors would happily jump on the wagon.

This message is addressed to all involved parties.

Just think about this chance.

Finally!
This is exactly what needs to be done.

There should be some sort of reunion in some kind of place.
Certain assets will be discussed and distributed equally by someone! To someone else!

It's a great plan, thanks for this chance.
I am looking forward to the creation of a company based on this equal distribution of undefined assets previously uncertainly belonging to unnamed parties, to other equally unnamed parties on the premise of something unspecified.

It ill thrive,
and it will change the course of something.

Sincerely yours,

Since you are obviously talking about NG I would pay to see that investment pitch....

"We have OS with 90's feature set, hardware with mid 00's performance for todays high end prices. Our userbase is in low hundreds and we have over dozen active developers!"

The present and future is retro gaming. Nothing else matters. Amiga OS 1.3 is good enough for that ;)

@ nikosidis & AmigaBlitter

Your pleas do not fall on deaf ears, I assure you.

I would love to weigh in on the controversial posts however, I know that my own opinion would simply be rejected by some of AmigaWorld's Amiga hating, technology liberals. It's sad that these individuals have brought their Amiga militant wing, Antiga, upon us. Stay strong true Amigans! BTW, by now I'm sure you all recognize their newest agitator-in-chief.

P.S. Nothing against NG.... just not my cup of tea.
