Then, perhaps, you should piss off your own thread, in what might appear as a sort of performance art act.

Because, mark my words friend Mobileconnect,
you embody the very definition of twat.

Bestest o all conceivable regards,

@MEGA_RJ_MICAL

Careful you don’t know him, and you have not looked at his CV, you are making a fool of yourself. He is not a wannabe, he just might have a few bucks to spend on hobby.

@NutsAboutAmiga

Friend NutsAboutAmiga,

he might be Elon Wozniak-Gates, he might have designed a cpu architecture that cures cancer, he might have billions in the bank,

but even so, even so, NutsAboutAmiga oh my dearest of friends, that wouldn't detract from his twatness.

Based on his attitude, this court has irrevocably declared him a twat.

@NutsAboutAmiga

he might have or not

he could say I have already done this or that. He talks about "teams" already working for him but nothing else. He seems to develop for military ;). In the years I started (unfortunately ;) ) again I saw a lot of "user" pop up, talk a lot and then vanish again. The amiga community seems to be crowded with that.

it does not look really like what I know from "real world" (free lancers) and I would be sceptical but that has everybody decide for himself

There are more crackpots in Amiga forums than you can shake a stick at. Probably an ex moobunny regular. If you wanted to see humans wired up the wrong way, moobunny was the place to go.

Yes, it’s tricky.

As freelancer I believe actually, then I need to create my own company, of Couse be problem as soon as don’t find work to do, because technically I’m employ in own company, and then need to fire myself, and kill it. it’s not really worth it, it costs 2250 / 2832 NOK, 215,21 Euro / 271 Euro.

Temporary employment, is possible but can’t be longer than 12 months, according to Norwegian law. In that case have work for registered company. Work for British company also issue, not sure if they laws are compatible.

Donations or bunties are tricky, because they actual stop payout unemployment office, it has been substantial amount to be worth it, because of this. but law says it can’t be more 6000 NOK / 600 Euro, as soon as more 6000 NOK / 600 Euro, you need create your own company.

He might be Donald Trump. Now that he has extra time on his hands, he's be down at Mar-a-Lago working on the Make Amiga Great Again project. It's all very top secret, but it's going to be big and beautiful, and Mexico is going to pay for it all!

@Hypex

I guess he lost interest in it, I guess if you connected your Amiga to TV and don’t have keyboard connected, if your using your Amiga as media center type of thing.

I'm interested to know who is an experienced Amiga developer who is willing to take on some paid work. I don't mean $50 bounties I mean '000s of dollars. I know most people would fall into one or more of the categories "left the scene years ago", "what time i can spare is already booked up by Hyperion/Trevor" or "I can do it but I don't have time because of day job/family etc." I'm hoping to find someone with good experience who isn't in those categories at the moment.

I don't know the project but I thank you for such initiative. I would have loved to work on a paid project for the Amiga. And since I started as a freelance developer, I wanted to take free time to work on Amiga projects (I already have a huge list!). But at the moment, I'm afraid I enter the category #3.

@corto

Thanks. I have had a handful of serious replies and sent details to each of them. I hope to make agreement with at least one of them. Anyone else reading this now or in the future who is interested should contact me too by sending a PM.

He might have a twatish personality, but his heart/mind/wallet are in the right place.

I learned something new, I learned that there are still some Amiga OS developers available in the market, and that they have not all moved on or swallowed up by Hyperion, A-Eon, etc. This ccould come in handy down the road.

He might have dropped the ball a bit on AmigaPython, the not dead project with the last update on 7th May 2005, but its a worthwhile effort to liberate Amiga OS development from its dependency on C.

We still have those Amiga OS APIs. Modernising those would be another worthy endeavour. If we want more developers, we need to tap into growing or already large pools.

You know the old proverb, if the mountain won't come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain.
Especially now with the increase of Apollo Vampire 080 cores in the market.

Dear twat, that website hasn't been updated since 2005, in fact I stopped using that ISP many years ago and I don't know why it's even still live. But please, do everyone a favour and #### off.

@agami

As you might read elsewhere, Python port for Amiga was stopped when Frieden's refused to collaborate and wasted time making their own new port without Irmen's Amiga features. Rather than waste my time, I ported it to Symbian OS instead. But, there are some guys interested in doing up to date port I am talking to. Maybe it will happen. afxgroup over on amigans.net has done a new python3 port without amiga specific features, which is a start.

Why? There's one in MorphOS, for example... you can use the system with mouse only by using this virtual keyboard. Or if there would be a touchscreen or something :)
