@jacadcaps: Excellent work! While I am more into AmigaOS4 I have really respect for your effort and skills.

It's a pity that MorphOS doesn't support more RadeonHD-cards. I would really like to install it as second OS on my X5000 but swapping GPUs (or using a GPU with no 3D-support in AmigaOS4) isn't an option for me. But maybe in the future

@AP

Just curious, so please no flames, but what do you run on AmigaOS4 that needs 3D support from the newer Radeon drivers? (Edit: I really want to know how much 3D software is out there, that OS4 users run often, is it mostly games? I sold my X1000 because I stopped using it, after the situation with Hyperion not being able to provide timely updates for OS4 for years, and the failure to even work on half of the proposed features that I was supposed to get free with a 4.2 update, which seems will never be completed. Except for the work done or sponsored by A-Eon, what have we really gotten? The poor performance/lack of a good web browser, I got sick of waiting, and frankly if/when Hyperion finally comes out with a new version of OS4, I wouldn't want to pay for it, because I no longer believe that supporting Hyperion is a good thing for this community)

I agree that it would be great if/when the MorphOS Dev. Team can get to supporting more recent Radeon video cards, but have no idea if/when that will happen. It would be great if A-Eon would sponsor at least part of that work, like they are sponsoring development of the Radeon drivers for AmigaOS4. A-Eon could even charge for it by including the MorphOS Radeon driver in a package of some kind, similar to the Enhancer Pack they now sell for OS4.

The improved certificate handling is pretty welcome. Particularly on this site. I had certificate issues with www.amigaworld.net. Works now.

@Hypex

OS4 Emu lets morphos run os4 binaries not the other way around right? and anyway that hasn't been updated for 15 years.

@Mobileconnect

LOL. All these emus sound the same after a while. MOSEmu OS4Emu. QEmu. How many flightless birds are getting off the ground here?

But if it ran on OS4Emu it would work on OS4.

So, in other words, does Wayfarer work on MOSEmu yet?

@Hypex

MOSEmu was never released IIRC and nothing was done after the initial screenshoots since 2004 so no.

It would need so much more than just make the exe run also so it's better to get an extra machine running the real deal.

Wayfarer 2.6 is now out!

- Implemented Web Notifications and Download notifications via Magic Beacon. See the FAQ for more information
- Added browser tab pinning (via tab context menu). Disables tab close button and hotkeys
- Use Clipboard unit 1 for HTML paste operations like Odyssey does
- Linked against OpenSSL 3.0
- Fixed a WebAudio crash on bahn.de
- Enabled Intersection Observer (fixes github.com)
- Fixed an issue which caused some of the settings to display wrong state when opening settings for a given host directly from the menu

@Hypex

Better to port it correct, instead of a hack, my guess is that some stuff be under preforming, or not take advantage of native resources, if you manage to wrap the MOS API on top of AmigaOS4, anyway don't get me wrong I love a QEMU that can run on top AmigaOS4, using CPU virtualization, easy access to Linux and MorphOS from QEMU be great. but I guess we be stuck with slow fame buffers, instead of GL accelerated graphics.

@Am!ga

His webkit patches are open source now so it's feasible someone could try to build it into Odyssey or build some other browser chrome around it. Or maybe alfkil could use the patches to get QtWebKit building in his new Qt6 port. Porting the application part is not feasible, even if it was open source, it's dependent on an objectiveC runtime that doesn't exist on OS4.
