Thread Not that I think anyone should 'own' a month, but seeing as Her Majesty the Queen has asked us to honour her by considering living our lives for Christ in the message delivered by the Archbishop of York last week, then I think the flag below is more relevant during THIS year's June personally! |
Would that be the same Archbishop of The Church of England that openly sanctions this?

No, dead wrong. That muppet caught covid and couldn't preside over the Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving so God worked behind the scenes to get a brave 'whole hearted' believer to give the sermon instead i.e. the Archbishop of York.
Nice try Strange as it may seem there are a few Bible believing Christians left in the Church of England!Last edited by BigD on 13-Jun-2022 at 08:12 PM. Last edited by BigD on 13-Jun-2022 at 08:03 PM.

So the leaders of your Church are muppets and you know Christian doctrine better than them?
What qualifications do you have? |

Using your power to protect a child rapist because he happens to be your son is being a faithful Christian?
Hoarding immense wealth whilst the poor of your country go hungry is Christ-like is it?

Imagine a programming language based on Christianity. It would be full of logical errors and everybody would have their own personal interpretation. Writing a parser for it would be a nightmare! |

Below is the process of how the Archbishop of Canterbury is chosen and it has nothing to do with either being a being a 'born-again' believer and follower of Christ, having a good knowledge of the Bible or having the bravery and leadership to obey God's word in a public office. It is quangoism at its worst:
Courtesy of Quora: Quote:
Like all Church of England diocesan bishops, the Archbishop of Canterbury is elected by the College of Canons of the diocesan cathedral. But wait! The canons always elect one candidate unanimously. This is because they are instructed to do so by the Crown: the Crown inherited this right at the Reformation, since it had previously belonged to the Pope. So really, it's the Crown making the choice.
But wait! The Queen doesn't really have any such personal power these days. Everything is done in the Queen's name by the Prime Minister, who “recommends” the person to the Sovereign. So really, it's the Prime Minister making the choice.
But wait! The Prime Minister is a secular official and has no particular connection to the Church. How can she possibly make a good choice? Well, she has a list of two names and she always chooses the first one. So really, it's that list which has the choice.
But wait! Who sent her this list? Well, there's an organisation called the Crown Nominations Commission, whose members are chosen by the Church's General Synod. The Commission's job is to review the possible candidates, choose one, and make the list of two names to send to the Prime Minister.
But wait! How can the Crown Nominations Commission know about the needs of the diocese that needs a new bishop? Well, the diocese will have set up a “Vacancy-in-See” committee, who will send a report to the Commission. It also sends six of its members who become members of the Commission for the duration of this investigation.
It's a bit complicated. |
My point was that God evidently had to strike the Archbishop of Canterbury with Covid in order that the Queen be properly honoured on her special day by someone with an actual on point anointed message! Thank God for Stephen Cottrell and thank God for the Queen.Last edited by BigD on 14-Jun-2022 at 11:16 PM.

That's not evidence, that's taken from a music album entitled Dark Side Of The Moon.
There is no dark side of the moon really matter of fact it's all dark.
So the group who created this clearly can't be trusted.

Although the cover is an artist's depiction of light refracting from a triangular prism ( a true observable phenomenon in physics and in nature), it is overall really about Money.
But feel free to google some more about the dark side of the moon.

Google some more? Didn't have to Google to begin with, the album is in my collection. Money is only one tenth of it, track 6.

Oh right, I get it now. Covid really was created in a lab - the Earth, where God is running His little genesis experiment (Second attempt. The first one went bad and had to be flushed down the drain). And He made Covid to kill millions of people just so the Queen would be properly honoured (because it is written that God annoints true leaders, but He's too lazy to do it in person). A peculiarly long-winded and brutal way to do it, but apparently God is a sadistic version of Rube Goldberg.
And why not? I mean, when you are making up stories to go in a book of supernatural fiction, anything goes. |
