@amyren

Well I know FinalWriter 97 is not free nor does anyone have the rights to include it.

It's easy to remove "FinalWriter 97" i.e. I'm in the Wordworth camp. All my current printers are network-based and the Amiga has an issue with them and I need to figure out NetPrinter software.

With a working AmiTube, I have been deleting the bloatware from Coffeine 922 and I'm using a 32 GB microSD card.

YouTube MPEG videos can eat disk space.

I purchased Plipbox for A500.

Just received my From Vultures to Vampires Vol. 2 today.
Thanks David Pleasance.
Looking forward to reading it through.
At 275 pages it is 75 pages less than Vol. 1 but should still be a good read.
Then I have to work out how to order Vol. 3...

Yup, I received my Volume 2 book about a week ago. Not only does it talk about Amiga but also about what has happened with the Commodore name!

Yep, loads of content on Commodore. I wonder if that was what pushed the page count too high and necessitated a third volume? Either way always a good read. I loved the story about the drinks-soaked meeting with Hyperion during the X1000 saga.

I’m still waiting for my hardback edition of From Vultures to Vampires Vol 2. I really really enjoyed reading the eBook Edition of Vol 2. It was a gripping part 2 take about the Amiga Saga. Kind of like The Divine Comedy Vol 2 from Italian Dante Alighieri. It’s a Italian narrative begun in 1308 and completed around 1321.

Wait a minute! Are you talking about Purgatorio? Because though I finished Inferno, I never began Purgatorio.

Yes, you’re correct. I’m not sure about your view but I see the Amiga Saga as a modern day technological Divine Comedy. The Amigas journey through Hell, Purgatory and finally Heaven. What do you think?

@DiscreetFX

We had Commodore, Smiga Technologies, Quikpak, Eyetech, AmigaKit/A-EON and now Amiga users develop hardware and software ourselves like with the Pistorm and Vampire!

It sounds like an actual progression if you ignore all the Troika, ABox and ACK Control misfire/vapourware!

...and ignore anything involving Amiga Inc other than the recent Cloanto variant licensing the RGL Amiga Mini!

Simulant also have a licensed USB keyboard. A bit pricey at £140 but I pre-ordered for a bit less than that.
