@number6

Seems a lot of bugs that were ironed out the past days during betatest, has returned, so as Sibbi wrote, some of those might disappear by themselves when the DNS propagation is completely done.

@Sibbi

I have some issues with the PM's..........

Na, just kidding

( We spent two days with this particular issue, glad that bug has not returned. )

@number6

Can you try again, I'm fairly certain I have it ironed out, it could just have been cached.

The issue with the post count was also related to that bug, if you did an edit, but it instead posted a reply, there was an extra post in the forum itself (which counted in the number of pages), but the postcount did not increase (since after all, you edited the post, you didn't post a new one).

Hence the discreprency in the count, the counter on the front page isn't actually counting the number of posts, it's fetching a counter which is updated by the code. The display however is just fetching all the posts, and gets the total count, I'm afraid there is no way to really fix the currently broken counters, but it shouldn't happen anymore.

I do not know if this is a bug or an intended feature.

The "Recent topics" page now has a very large width. The name of the topic with lot of pages take lot of place. I remember that this was not the case with previous site.

Maybe from a certain count of page the page list should show first page then ... then last page.

The Dave haynie thread also is not showing the proper "last page" (blocked at "previous from last" it would seem) and posts are falling under the last one posted by hazydave (in a narrower column...) only on page 29 though

Bug #3) Threads appear to have stopped counting and paging.

Example: This thread has 280 posts, it said 277.
Example: Nibiru thread has 505 posts and 26 pages. It says 492 and 25 pages.

example: xxx < = yyy

If I write the < and the = together without blank, everything after xxx will be cut in the preview.

Bug #4) I believe the forum page isn't refreshing. Recently posted forums appear to not be bubbling up to the top.

@BrianK

This is all the same bug, I thought I fixed it, and I manually updated some of the threads, but I'm not entirely sure whether its fixed yet and I can't find a pattern as to when the count isn't updated, and when it is, there was a bug with the edit, that would actually post a new reply but not increase the reply count, but there seems to be something else as well, I'm keeping an eye open for this bug, we'll get it licked.

@sibbi

Minor issue, not related to the migration:

When you get a chance could you repair the "hanging quote" error:

here?

I believe it works now, although I'm not sure it works correctly because I never use it myself, is it working the way it's supposed to be now?

@sibbi

Here's a bug. Whenever I make a post, the meta-refresh page has a square grey rectangle all the way across the top of the page; just above the banner.

@sibbi

Found another fatality.

(1)Pick any forum here:
http://www.amigaworld.net/modules/newbb
A good choice that we know should have tons of threads/posts:
http://www.amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewforum.php?forum=14&105688

Go to bottom and change "sorted by" from 100 days (default) to "beginning".
Click "go".

This worked before and would then show all the page numbers from the beginning that you could choose from. Now it just seems to do a page refresh, much like the problem you fixed in "search" yesterday.

That's been fixed I believe

@Thread

Thanks for reporting all of these issues, it's really appreciated.

I believe that is the fabolous notice banner talking about migrating, maybe DaveyD would like to take a look at that.
