Hey guys, back in 1991/92 I wanted to go to the Amiga Expo in Ontario. I used a program called "TRIP" to calculate the route. Does anyone remember this program? I've been looking hard for it with no luck! :(

@zxoney

I'm curious as to why you'd want to find a nearly 30 year old navigation program that is probably useless in terms navigating modern roads and cities. There have been too many infrastructure changes in the past 28 years for anyone to put their trust in such an old program.

@zxoney

This could be RoadRoute from Jim Butterfield. Available on Fish Disk 504.

@A1200

A highway trip planner based on Jim Butterfield's RoadRoute.

We are looking for an application from the very early 1990s.

Program identified:

Trip (or Amiga Trip) by Sky Shepard Software (reference: Antics Amiga Plus; Volume 1, number 6; February/March 1990; p. 82).

I´m not able to find this one on the net. Search continues...

Edit3: Trip is not even in the TOSEC archive.
Edit4: TRIP (Travel Route Itinerary Program) - there is linkedin profile mentioning this application (his company was a distributor?)

Yeah, that's great! I often dig up old programs for the same reason now just to see them running. Sounds crazy but doing so reminds me of the good times I had back in the 80's with my Amigas. I also do this for old Windows 3.1x stuff.

If you find a working copy it would be nice to see if it could be updated with current road route data.
