I got my Micro-A1 about a week ago. Finally got it working after desparately seeking any documentation I could find. I haven't got any support from Software Hut at all, not even a scrap of paper with installation instructions. There's nothing on their web site. You'd think after paying $900 they would offer something. I did find there are sources of info.

I've found out some interesting things. 1-The motherboard seems like a very nice mature product. 2-AOS4 is very cool. 3-The native version of UEA is totally useless at this point. 4-The lack of a floppy introduces some challenges. 5-Hooking up to a PC with Samba is not too difficult.

I'm writing a simulation game similar to Monopoly with a focus on real estate development.

Great to have another developer onboard. The SDK is quite mature if still lacking in some areas (e.g. docs and no profiler support). I would suggest posting any developer related questions to AmigaDEV and UtilityBase.

If you have any commercial software in mind you may also want to contact TimDG@hyperion-entertainment.biz for early access to updates, etc.

Assuming you purchased your board from Software Hut, send an email to joe@softhut.com and ask that he email you the pdf file of the documentation for the motherboard. I did and he sent it to me the next day. It's actually very good documentation. I don't know why they don't send it with the boards.

A link like this on the package is better than no link at all.

@thinkchip

Congrats!
The installation guide is here: www.os4.co.uk
Remember to use buffers500 blocksize2048 and long filenames.

Do you have installed update2 already?

Check out Richard Drummond's E-UAE. A quick google takes you straight there.
