| MindSpace - Drawing package for OS4 (and 3.x eventually...) Creates Diagrams, Mind Maps Flow Charts and Next Gen Hardware (ahem). Can be used as a simple SVG editor
Latest version: Registered version: 1.2 (released 06 July 2009) Demo version : 0.99 (updated 31 August2007)
Requirements: OS4 and a sense of humour
What does it do? Allows user to create structured/vector drawings and diagrams. Exports to svg, png, pdf, jpg , iff etc Exports to text and html files (eventually) spews out C and C++ code templates
License All demo versions can be freely distributed. Demo limitations are basically restricted file output support and preferences are switched off. Registered version costs £10
Homepage and Contact Via pm here at AW.net or at the MindSpace website
Latest Changes 1.2: improved speed and stability on OS4
V1.0a released at last (Nov 2007) Import external images in any datatype compatible format Rotate/flip objects Export to .iff Choose png output size AA Display improved
Other Blurb Feedback, bug reports, suggestions always welcomed. I'd be interested to know if anything useful happens under OS4Emu (ducks?)
EDIT: updated versions available (6 July 2009)

Does the "etc" include AutoCAD drawings (.dwg)? I use that allot on my windoze laptop, and it would be nice to be able to edit them in MindSpace. I guess it would also import those same formats too?_________________ God is a man with a grey beard. His name is Jay Glenn Miner. |

I love MindMap programs!
How are the functions for MindMaps compared to other software on other platforms, like MindJet MindManager for instance?

Sadly not. Will currently only inport native .mso files, although in the long term svg import will be implemented.
Buiolt-in export is to txt, html and svg. other formats are exported "indirectly" using svg tools package. _________________ Happiness is mandatory. MindSpace: MindMaps and UML diagrams for OS4

Primitive? I've been using FreeMind and Inspiration as vague reference models and implementing stuff I find useful.
Grab the Demo and let me know what else needs to be done._________________ Happiness is mandatory. MindSpace: MindMaps and UML diagrams for OS4

The latest issue of Total Amiga contains a preview article of MindSpace. Many thanks Robert!
The preview is based on version 0.92 and there have obviously been a number of improvements since then including: -> 4 times as many built-in drawing shapes -> User defined shapes -> Native export to text and html as well as .mso format -> Full graphic export to svg, .png and .pdf (via svgtools) -> Enhanced keyboard control (GUI and drawing/object placement) -> Undo/Redo re-written from scratch
Version 0.97a is now up on the website and should fix any problems under OS4 Final. Thanks for continued support, ideas and bug-reports. Last edited by yoodoo2 on 09-Apr-2007 at 07:20 PM. Last edited by yoodoo2 on 13-Feb-2007 at 12:46 AM.

Bit of a self-proclaimed bump.
I'm just putting together the last few pieces of the next release.
Anyone got any bugs for me to fix first?

| @registered users:
A pre-release of 1.1 is up on the registered users' page of the website.
1.1 allows the use of multi-line textboxes as shown here and fixes a couple of memory related bugs.

| Minor update released (1.11c) on 22 March 2008.
Should hopefully improve stability on OS4 Classic machines.
Feedback very much welcome! _________________ Happiness is mandatory. MindSpace: MindMaps and UML diagrams for OS4

Just a bit of advance notice that I'm (finally) putting the finishing touches to a mini MIndSpace update and will hopefully put a new archive up on the website a bit later today.
Edit: done. Version 1.2 now available to registered users from the website. Contact me if you've lost your login details. Last edited by yoodoo2 on 06-Jul-2009 at 05:49 PM.
