If McEwen tells you his company is worth $150M or so, you should definitely laugh. -Tig

In that case can u give us a figure that they're worth more than and one that they're worth less than?
(perhaps something like... More than $4999999 and less than $5000001 lol (j/k)) but perhaps a range.. something like more than 5 million and less than 10 million... That doesn't tell us, but it gives us a good idea how much we'd need to win.. heh)
Well... I got my lottery tickets ready for tomorrow night... Failing that it might be time to hit the casino! lol Last edited by BinoX on 10-Aug-2007 at 09:47 PM.

Sadly...I see this one as having a parallel to buying a home. It's worth "X", but we have to factor in the amount of the offer to reflect the repairs needed to the rotting roof, leaking plumbing, dangerous electric, cracked drywall, etc.
Merely extracating the word "Amiga" from the name "Amiga Inc." might require a significant investment. For reference, see the confused and varied comments during the Kent affair...alternating references between the 2 phrases as if they were one and the same. Of course, this would only apply if one intended to extend the market approach beyond our small world here.

Any chance you of getting them to sell it without all the superficial cr*p. Do they really need the Amiga name for Ruksun and and their DE games. |

Very good assessment and summary.
IMHO Amiga Inc is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Bit like selling a house or a car. Dosen't really matter the condition you just need a willing buyer (and seller).

I guess more important we should ask you (and other interested investors) : What will you do when you buy Amiga ? Last edited by wajdy on 10-Aug-2007 at 10:43 PM.

Please download and listen to Amiga Round Table #3 podcast for that info.
@Rob
I don't think they need the Amiga name for Ruksun and and their DE games, and I doubt my investors would even be interested in Ruksun or DE. Last edited by DiscreetFX on 11-Aug-2007 at 01:28 AM.

You mean you know how deep the hole they are digging for themselves huh? You know that info. Wow! too bad you are NDA'ed. The operative word is "thought" huh.. I think the word is "failure to execute, brand refresh". I remember meeting you at a Toaster thing a long time ago. You are probably the only Toaster community member left that even cares..

Right now the Amiga brand is so poisoned, it can't be worth any more than it manages to pull in as patent revenue. How much is that a year? Less than 1million US$ a year? What investment games are they playing in the portfolio where they've tucked away the Amiga paperwork anyway? It must be like some movie rights I read about. The studio buys the rights to a story, charater or script, but then never makes the movie. They just keep others from making it. Sound familiar?

| No one has mentioned AI's debt. With the lawyer fees and paid staff alone, AI should be at least hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. I don't see them generating any substantial income (no real products) so AI probably has a negative value. The name could be very valuable to savy investors with vision and instincts but looks worthless to most. I wonder how much money could be raised by taking an Amiga company public. Nobody would buy AI's stock because of it's reputation but a "good" company might not do too bad.

You don't need to. I think we all realise that AInc. operates purely within a fantasy bubble. _________________ Sam |
