So are Hyperion officially bankrupt now? If not who cares! Roll on OS3.3!

Or even if Hyperion does go bankrupt. What changes?

We all know that everything Hyperion is just Ben anyways. So if Hyperion would go bankrupt, just like last time, Ben would suddenly have a massive amount of "services rendered" claims against Hyperion and become, once again, major debtor.
So Hyperion falls and all rights and IP is transferred to Ben, just like last time, because he is the single largest debtor.

What changes? AOS4 and all contracts and licenses are now owned directly by Ben instead of via a shell-company? Until he can create a new shell-company, Hyperion2, and transfer these assets to.

None of this shit matters and nothing will change.

Too many things have been tried. The only thing the Amiga needs is an investor with a lot of money. That's all.

@21stcentury

You’re essentially saying that AmigaOS is ransomware, and that the problem is that Cloanto doesn’t have enough money to convince Hermans to give it up?

No I'm just saying that these companies have not enough money for to relaunch seriously the Amiga.

For to relaunch it, the Amiga needs :

- A new and unique machine with standard chips to facilitate conversions of games/softwares AND specific chips for all developpers who wants to take advantage of the new Amiga capabilities. This machine have to be unique not only in his hardware but also in his concept (I have an idea about that)

- An AmigaOS at the same level of others OS with a serious browser and an Office suite.

- Few Games licenses ONLY on Amiga. Nintendo is the best example.

- A big Marketing campaign with mass production.

Sorry for my english

.... to drop everything that is even remotely "Amiga" today...

..... and it would still not have "YALD" level of success.

@Kronos

Not to drop evything. Amiga was unique by this technical capabilities but it's different today : a machine have to be unique with a unique concept.

And a unique concept make a strong identity.

Whatever Trevor offered in the past clearly wasn't enough.

Another case of the reader having to make out what this means:

another leaked document?

@eliyahu

I see you asked a question on twitter.

Lee & Hayes was one of several attorney firms to withdraw from the current case:
