@thread

I'm just catching up on this thread since last night.
I'm happy you announced the news about OS4.1 for classics, but I see more talk about the merits of -doing- such a thing than actual news.

If you want to continue to discuss the news, I think that's great. I encourage that.

But for those of you who wish to argue about whether the idea of updates for classic either are...or are not a wise move, please start a thread for this one particular announcement that was made, so that the news thread will be more easy to follow by everyone here.

btw-this was the only announcement made last night that received applause, unless I missed some background clapping elsewhere.

I think an update for the classic is good news too. Just need to find a PPC card.

So, 10 am Sacramento time - that's 19 pm CET. Are we expecting any problems with web streaming today or will it be operational from the start?

@Plaz

Good luck finding one and the assorted Network/Graphics cards you'll need for significantly less than a new Sam.

I'm in the process of getting schedule confirmation and streaming confirmation.
I'll post when I have spoken to the necessary parties.

OK, I checked and they were 7 hours behind. Want to hear Ben Hermans being asked questions.

Assuming they're still being produced, your best bet for newer PPC accelerators is if Amiga drivers are created for the Sonnet PPC cards:
http://www.sonnettech.com/product/processorupgradecards/index.html
$29.95 for a G3 upgrade seems reasonable, don't you think?

Stream is screwed, keeps looping same bit. and MPlayer on all machines crash.

Hope this is being recorded, because I would like to hear what Ben says.
