You didn't read my post did you? FIrst I said nothing personal but just had to call you out.
Anyway, I specifically said I wasn't pulling a quote of you saying anything bad about OS4. --Read it again.
I said I wasn't going to do a search of you bashing OS4. I did say I was going to do a 30 second skim of the front page of Moobunny. I did say that on the front page without doing a keyword search and just looking with my eyes I saw you on the front page bashing 2 different OS4 "PROJECTS".
See what I wrote there? I was simply posting how ironic it was that at the very moment you were posting how offended you were that someone accused you of calling OS4 "shady", that sitting on the front page of Moo, you are bashing 2 of the main projects going on right now.
Ironically, you may have never used the term "shady" however. But he wasn't referring to the exact 5 letters S H A D Y now was he? He was meaning that on any given day you typically and in a general sense are expressing your opinion that OS4 is a steaming pile of ####. But you know this and are now going to play a twist the words game. It has to be shady or it doesn't count! Will the real shady please stand up? Please stand up?
Anyway, just too funny that your posts where just sitting over there at that moment you post over here so offended! Last edited by AmigaHeretic on 05-May-2011 at 06:41 PM.

Well, people who claim on one hand: Quote:
I'm sure AI will claw back their IP |
(referring to OS4 of course)
+
see benefit in and therefore support entering a license agreement with the same group they are "sure" will claw back their IP...
probably should take a second look at how wise it is to slam OS4, strictly from a logical standpoint and how it might affect the company they say they support. Not that PR has been an issue or anything...

You asked. That didn't leave me much choice, since quotes require sources.
Anyway...this is not about anything other than the logic I implied.
When you: (1)slam an operating system and those that aspire to develop it over a course of years... (2)then throw unwavering support behind a company that might see an advantage in licensing such an operating system or its "name"... (3)how does this serve the company you say you support?
I just don't get it...

I guess it is sort of like some people saying they are going to kill everyone, then there will be peace.
Ooookee-doakee. That works.
Makes about as much sense as yelling how minuscule, unimportant, insignificant, meaningless, valueless, our hobby is, and then spending all your time trying to convince people that it must be eliminated before something else can flourish.
Uh-huh....

Barry didn't steal the name C=, he paid for a license fee and for @ unit sold and then again additional fees for the upcoming Commodore Amigas to Amiga Inc. How much did Hyperion pay for the name Amiga OS again?

8 years of hard work and dedication, more than 1 milion EUR in to the development of the OS and some royalties to Amiga.Inc of course (in accordance with the November 2001 Agreement). |

I don't care what you paid for the name, you're a new company with an unproven track record, unlike the original Commodore. Don't even dare to put yourself in the same shoes.
I have no problems with your products, I just don't like stupid remarks like eXec posted. What is it with your followers & their troll posting? You're attempting to start a compamy on the foundation of the existing Amiga community & at the same time, tear it apart. Have any of you actually gone to business school? _________________ Hate tends to make you look stupid... |

you gonna definitely go down in history as a bright, wise and innovative brand continuator, oh gosh, by the way, if i had the cash i would surely buy 'beagle board' brand and sell x86 under that name - that would certainly be to the beagle-community benefit _________________ "Marxism must abhor nothing so much as the possibility that it becomes congealed in its current form.
