@AmigaBlitter these machines

Always nice to see a pick&place in action.
Our factories have chipshooters before the regular pick&place. These machines pick up 64 smd components at a time. It's like a pneumatic hammer how it places the components on the pcb. At least it feels like it when you're standing right next to it

It's The "Golden" Child - Nemo revision 2.1

Quoting A-Eon e-mail:

"AmigaKit, the official distributor of the A1-X1000, will take delivery of the first batch of boards from Varisys next week and will begin shipments to team members shortly after."

Next week

@AmigaBlitter

I guess Xena chip (XS1-L2-124QFN) is installed at minute 1:20 on video.

At least the component shown in the video at 1:20 has the same shape as stated in XMOS docs.

@AmigaBlitter

Are you saying this is old / out-moded technology? If so, I'd like to see the latest in action.

No, he meant that he had the opportunity to work with such machines in the past.

@AmigaBlitter

Glad we solved the "vapor" thing, and I&I bet it will be better then Duke Nukeum Forever

Thanks for the AmigaX1000 board presentation! Good to see Varisys as PPC hardware developer on You Tube!

Now we need just OS 4.2 and Elite 4 for it
