@tomazkid

Thankyou, Tomazkid,
for the moment here is a zip file of the four gamepacks.

These files were created a few years ago and have just sat on my computer.

Interested and good artwork, I hope that you enjoy design more graphics for future games, for me still it is soon, but some day I'll begin to make other games with sprites.

Those look real nice.

I think one person you could contact about those graphics is Cammy who is one if this forums members, She propably will this year too be holding the Amiga Christmas Tree competition, so She might be interested in adding those graphics to her website to help people join the competition.

@TheAMIgaOne

Yes these are my graphics, used Lightwave for some of the 3d sprites. I have no developer at the moment. Would be nice to develop something for the X1000 ;)

My time is limited with a newborn at the moment, would like to spend a few hours a week doing something for the Amiga community, game or application graphics.

I'll package various sprites for games that I have created in the past, will try to do that today.

Meanwhile a teaser of my most recent sprites for a shoot em up game -

The screenshot is in part a mockup of a paint package (miss using deluxe paint and Briiliance 2)

Some of the oldest sprites I have created here: (sonic inspired, morphing ball/player sprite.

Love the work, i was just about to ask what program that was, so again this is all your on design with out someone asking for the gfx.

I too do some graphical work, some in Macromedia Fireworks, GiMP and cinema4d but normally as its not my main area I take ages making the gfx then dont get anywhere with the coding.

Ive just quickly put some of your gfx of ChocChomp into my cross-platform code, and already ive got a working menu screen with the buttons provided on Win32 and Amiga68k. Thou had to change the png to bmp24's as my cross-layer only uses bmps

In terms of your gfx package idea, again ive been looking for such thing on the PC so i can edit pixel gfx etc gimp came close, but again deluxe paint would of been perfect. Also have a wide range of graphic importers for like Amiga file formats and retro game file formats

@TheAMIgaOne

Thanks, nice to know you can make use of the sprites, over the years the formats have changed depending on the platform i used (Amiga,Pc,Mac)

Assd graphics at various stages of completion

Within the 10meg zip file are these folders for game ideas:
- Adrenalin Racer (top down version of wipeout/spyhunter)
- Brutal Sports (speedball clone)
- misc (icometric bits)
- Morph (platform game with morphing ball character)
- Uridzone (Uridium Clone)

I use photoshop on pc/mac these days but really do miss the split screen zoomed mode of Dpaint and Brilliance.

Excellent. I've done many retro games for the Amiga that where with not so good graphics. Your graphics will come very handy for my next projects.

Have you been introduced to Cammy? She is looking for talented people to help develop Amiga games.

This looks awsome, a bit XenonII-ish but modern.
Respect.
If you have also Level GFX, we could hook up something like AmegaOne?
I could provide the mapeditor and the engine, and someone can make a game out of it. Unfortunately, I have still all hands full to do with AmegaOne.

Hi All,

@Invent :
Some of them are particulary nice :)
Can some of them be used in "free" games ?
Because I think we can make nice Amiga Games using them :p

EDIT :
If you can do more graphics in that style :
http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6171/6187540478_0b94242266_b.jpg
We should be able to create a great shoot'em'up in a mixed style between Raiden & Out-Zone (ref : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raiden_(arcade_game) & http://outzone.meodai.ch/index.html )

@Wanderer
Nice too :)

Regards,
AmiDARK

Graphics look really nice.

I don't want to sound nitpicking or anything, but I think it would be better if there was some clear license, like "free for non-commercial use", right to modify, need to credit original creator or whatever you like.

I think Creative Commons has such license.

@spotUP

Thanks Spot!

Yeah thats right. I'm working on a fighting engine right now. The idea is that everyone can configure it to work as all kind of fighting games. When its released it will feature IK+ vs. Barbarian. You can build new games using a text editor and some ripped graphics, or use your own graphics. On top of that I will release it open source for everyone to modify, learn how to code or release their own game. More info coming later when its finished. After that engine I will start on a new one, probably a platform. But I have no time to develop a lot of games. I can help but all you guys will have to run your own projects.
I do these things to learn and have fun. This engine is the result of me learning C++ instead of standard C. In the next one I will incorporate physics. Probably one that doesn't already exsits on Amiga already.

Of course... I will never be as bad add as Spot or Ka1ser. ;)

While not the same a DPaint, there is a pixel based editor (WIP currently and PC only) that you may want to play around with called D-Pixel.
