Alchimie is a demoparty event so any productions in games, music, demos, etc, will be available on the best demoscene sites like pouet and scene.org

@Thread

During OS4 conference, it was announced :

* Announcement of a DVD containing more than 70 game ports from Huno for AmigaOS 4.1. These ports are mainly exclusive or optimized ones. ACube financed the creation of this DVD which can already be bought at the Alchimie and soon at different resellers. The DVD contains also some demos and exclusive materials. Price is about 15 Euros.

* ACube also announced the future of the MiniMig. They presented the 1st PCB of what they called "The MiniMig +" which should sport a kind of 68xxx (CPU not revealed) which should be as fast as a 68030/30 Mhz. In addition it will have an ARM chip too integradetd on the moherboard. This new MiniMig would also contain 32MB RAM (up to 64 MB), 2 USB ports and an FPGA big enough to store an AGA core. This is only the beginning so there's a long road before the final release.

* Elwood explained the actual state of AmigaOS 4.1 and the future of the system (not much as we've already heard from AmiWest).

* Huno has released 4 or 5 new games, mainly FPS (World Of Padman, new version of ioQuake, Smokin'Guns, Star Trek Voyager Elite Force and Tremulous) and a reflexion game named Dale-Hardshovel.

World Of Padman, Stra Trek Voyager and the new ioQuake 3 will be released this week-end. Others should follow soon (still some work to do).

MorphOS conference will take place tomorrow (and Fab1 told me there should be some news to be told ).

Do not forget the webcams : http://triplea.fr/alchimie/pages/webcam.php

At the moment, 4Trackz is giving us an awesome concert (Techno, chiptunes, soft music...) !

Stay tuned !

About 180 amigans today (and great atari fans too !).

The Huno DVD is available now at your favorite dealer (like Amedia, Relec, Acube, etc...). Clearly, the "Minimig + " main features announced (minimig with aga support, 32 or 64 Gb, Arm included, 2 SD ports, 2 USB ..) by Acube seems very great if the price is as attracting as other projects like Fpga Arcade or Mist !

OS4 conference will probably soon be published (just time to check sound levels).

@zzd10h

The dvd was available tonight. ... Badly I went away
before getting one
Only a nude pcb was shown for the minimig+

there was also a presentation about a new filesystem
called fuse or something like that
But nothing new concerning gallium nor warp3d
(ie gallium with hard rendering is still for 4.2)
I just noted that it was planned to have some kind
of compatibility for old 3d drivers
( warp3d -> gallium wrapper??? )

Alain

BTW i have finally compiled Wazp3D for morphos/opengl. ...Badly it draw nothing. ...Will need some debug

Also tested Huno's Quake 3 on Wazp3D ==> crash :-/ in soft3d_setstate() when game starts... strange...
but on real waRp3d very impressive Huno is truly the best

@zzd10h

Let's say that 65/70% of attendees are Amigas, there are also Atarists, retrogamers and even robotics fans

Regarding the DVD, it is already available for purchase here at the Alchimie (I HAVE to post pictures) thanks to ACube. Amedia and Relec also sell it. Other wordlwide resellers should sell it very soon
