yes, probably some ram/hdd differences makes the test quite equal... _________________ Simone"Tuxedo"Monsignori, Perugia, ITALY. |

I've updated the topic trying to put a clear "table" of posted results. If someone can do some more test and also someX1000/x5000/Viper/WinUAE/MOS can do some more test is welcome

I think you should provide also non-AltiVec result for better dnetc comparison (koge scalar core) - when available (eg. above result for G5). |

There is generic non-altivec binary in MUI-MPlayer package (that is what I used).
With MickJT-MPlayer: 164.519s

try also some other bench |
Sorry, but WinUAE/QEMU is too sloooooooooooooow for FPU benchmarks. Lame on faster desktop computer had 0.33x with other file, I don´t think it would be much better with this one. Once I have A1222, I will make all requested benchmarks.
I will try BoingCube and GPMarc next. |

In muimplayer there 2 different directory come : altivec and generic. I.e. 2 separate programs from which you choice what one you need. Probably you someday install altivec version and forget about.
Do not rememer if it possilble to disable altivec use from config, as altivec version is compiled with altivec flags, and has different code than generic version._________________ Join us to improve dopus5! zerohero's mirror of os4/os3 crosscompiler suites |

Lame command produces an error, can anyone confirm the correct one?
*Note 1: Different afinch versions, produces slightly different results, as posted above * Note 2: Aflops version was for 040 * Note 3: BoingCube doesn't work under OS4emu (at least on my setup) Last edited by Cool_amigaN on 07-Jan-2018 at 02:21 PM.
