I have installed winuae 3.6.1 and got it up and running.

I installed OS 4.1 and update 1, but the

C:BootLoader COMMANDLINE = "NoRamPager"

But it still reports 126MB of ram.

I am sure I have set everything right, based what information I could find.

thanks very much for any help you folks can give me.

@IRTheBorg

I have not tried AOS4.x under WinUAE, but given that it runs effectively on a classic machine emulation - it was my understanding that OS4.x is restricted to 128MB of addressable ram as that is the limit on Amiga 4000 systems when using CyberstormPPC (or 256MB when using a BlizzardPPC on an A1200).

Any additional ram on a real machine was treated as a cache rather than additional physical memory available to OS4.

I am sure an OS4.x user may be able to shed some more light on this, but this was my understanding the last time I looked at threads on WinUAE PPC emulation and getting OS4 installed and running under it.

With update 1 of OS 4.1 FE you can now use a Zorro3 RAM board as system RAM using the command line option shown by IRTheBorg above.

@IRTheBorg

I think you have to change the memory board to "E3B ZorRAM" in WinUAE, otherwise OS4 will not accept it.

Plain Z3 board works good.

@IRTheBorg

My Startup-Sequence has this line:

C:BootLoader COMMANDLINE=NORAMPAGER

I use WinUAE 3.3.0 Beta 18, but this should work with all recent versions.
