| I have a Radeon card for my X5000 that does not work with the standard X5000 Amiga OS4.1 boot cd.
I want to create a boot USB drive of the boot cd ISO which will also work with newer Radeon graphics cards, and not be the limited version that comes with OS4.1
I have the Enhancer Software Graphics Upgrade which gives me the following;
RadeonHD version 3.6 driver RadeonRX version 1.11 driver
Is there an easy guide of what i need to copy over to the USB drive which would allow these drivers to work, or is it impossible and I have to install the OS using an older Radeon card and then install the drivers?
Thanks! _________________

What graphics card do you have ? The install cd comes with a Radeon limited driver that permits the install. Do you see the boing ball boot logo ? The boot sequence ? Tell us more.

When you purchase an X5000 from us, we offer the option of an Enhancer Software USB emergency boot drive - did you opt for that at the time?
Thanks. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS |

I've made my own modified Install CD and also created a bootable snapshot of my Workbench in the past. I've only used CD rather than USB drives but it should be similar.
I guess you first need to format the USB drive and put a suitable Amiga filesystem on their make it bootable. Then you just need to copy the CD contents, not the ISO, onto the USB drive and then swap out the old Radeon drivers for the new ones and modify the kick layout if any changes are necessary. |

I have a 270 1GB, 270 2GB, 270X 4GB and a RX 580 8GB. One problem is that if I want to use the RX 580 card, then I will have to swap it out if I want to reinstall from scratch. The older v1 limited driver also does not work with the 270X card._________________

Its second hand, but I do have it. As i have Enhancer 1.4 and the Graphics Upgrade pack, i was just looking for a quick way to put my own boot USB together with the latest bits and bobs :) _________________

Good idea - I have a 1GB USB stick I can use as a bootable copy of my HD._________________
