I recently gave one of those away for free (along with a whole load of other Amiga stuff).

That's really foolish! You can easily see how much they are going for on eBay! I thought £40 was expensive when I bought one a few years ago (wish I'd bought two)! _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |

For some people money isn't everything and you might want to make someone else happy and the award will be the feeling of making someone else happy.
It isn't foolish, it's being human.
If you don't get that and count everything in money then you might be a *path. Just saying. |

Look, I would prefer that Amiga stuff get used rather than end up in the bin but there is no guarantee that if you give stuff away free it won't be viewed as worthless by the new owner. Either that or you could get scalped and the new owner end up selling the CD32 pad for collectors' prices £75+! Amibay is the best way to re-home valuable equipment IMHO. _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |
