@nikosidis

You still need to report it on bugtracker, in forum it will be forgotten. It sounds like aros only issue, but still will be good to have it noted in issues, as well as with some more depth step to reproduce. Because you for sure know "they are some times sticky" not very well help :)

@kas1e

Hehe. I know that. The problem is that it seams very random, but I will try to see if there is a way to reproduce it. I will fill the bug tracker soon. Thx

Have you tried to use the original GP Software's Magellan 5.82? I bet it would work better on a 68k environment, because it's a rock solid and lightweight program.

I can't remember if I've tried the latest open source versions, but in any case the last time I tried, they were heavier than the original, but also more buggy at that state. I have sticked with the original on my 68k and MorphOS setups, because it still does what I need. The couple improvements I would like aren't worth sacrificing the stability etc.

yes that was my impression too.

@Wawa

using the RTG features of the Vampire2 and the Sound and I/ Features of the Vampire4 would be interesting. That's a point where AROS could succeed over AOS3.x when it is first with drivers.

@OneTimer1

for sure have an old A500/600 or all compatible vampire hw with a modern OS like is aros and not the old 3.1.x will make classic really cool

The main thing having AROS is that it is open source and can be developed by anyone.

The missing parts regarding OS 3.1 compatibility are not that many, or hard to implement.

I see the original assembler code being an advantage with very old weak hardware like A500 but
with Vampire AROS will fly.

We want something for the future right?
