This seems to be using strings in text section. In 68k asm everyone wrote code like that, so I don't know if everyone who moved to PPC and started writing small things in PPC like optimizing often used routines with inline assembly fixed his maybe bad habit from 68k days on the way and made sure that really only code and no such things like strings, tables (like sin/cos tables, hextoascii tables, hand written jump tables) end up in code section.

Yeah ... but how do you quickly identify programs that need back lisiting. The effect the patching/trampolining of code that shouldn't have been (because of running a program that should be black listed, but you don't know yet) can vary a lot. It may crash immediately. It may crash only 1 out of 100 times. It may not crash at all. It may cause to calculate wrong checksums when writing some file. Always. Or only 1 out of 100 times. Or only on Saturdays. It's unpredictable.

It's a bit like saying: this new superfast JPG to PNG conversion tool works fine, except in very rare cases (1 in 1000 images) because of a math problem it may cause some pixels to be wrong color. But that's no problem: in that case just use this older a little bit slower conversion tool for those problematic image files. And the fast new tools for all the rest.
